The syndrome of PG is interesting and aids in recognizing its presence.
(P) The usual clinical course of PG starts with a painful nodule papule pustule or vesicle that will expand and break down.
(I) There will be inflammation.
After the inflammation, the initial lesion will break down.
(E) following the breakdown, there will be erosions and ulcerations if the wound bed until it takes the recognizable form that we associate with PG
