" Why Me ? "
A Beautiful Message
by Arthur Ashe ,
The legendary Wimbledon Player who was dying of AIDS , which he got due to Infected Blood he received during a Heart Surgery in 1983 !
during his illness , he received letters from his fans , one of which conveyed :
" Why did God have to select you for such a bad disease ? "
To this Arthur Ashe replied :
⁃ 50 Million children started playing Tennis ,
⁃ 5 Million learnt to play Tennis ,
⁃ 500 000 learnt Professional Tennis ,
⁃ 50 Thousand came to Circuit ,
⁃ 5 Thousand reached Grand Slam ,
⁃ 50 reached Wimbledon ,
⁃ 4 reached the Semifinals ,
⁃ 2 reached the Finals and
when I was holding the cup in my hand , I never asked God :
" Why Me ? "
So now that I'm in pain how can I ask God :
" Why Me ? "
Happiness ... keeps you Sweet !
Trials ... keep you Strong !
Sorrows ... keep you Human !
Failure ... keeps you Humble !
Success ... keeps you Glowing !
But only , Faith ... keeps you Going !
Sometimes you are not satisfied with your life , while many people in this world are dreaming of living your life .
A child on a farm sees a plane fly overhead dreams of flying , while a pilot on the plane sees the farmhouse and dreams of returning home .
That's life !
Enjoy yours ... If wealth is the secret to happiness , then the rich should be dancing on the streets .
But only poor kids do that .
If power ensures security , then VIPs should walk unguarded .
But those who live simply , sleep soundly .
If beauty and fame bring ideal relationships , then celebrities should have the best marriages .
Live simply , be happy ! Walk humbly and love genuinely !
WHY ME ?
A Beautiful Message not just to read and forward but to apply practically in our personal life .
If it does not bring peace, positive change or purpose then don`t give it your time, energy or attention.
In This New Month of July, I Just want to Wish You a Beautiful, Amazing and Sweet Month Ahead of You.
I Pray that God Will Take Your Worries, Failures and Anxieties Away From You In This New Month.
Do Have a Great Month!
I join all Nigerians to celebrate .
Today, Nigeria marks the 22nd year in the 4th Republic, the longest in the history of the nation. As the people observe this landmark, they yearn for equity, fairness, economic progress and enhanced quality of life, which are the promises of democracy
For democracy to flourish we must improve electoral processes, uphold the rule of law, protect human rights and freedoms and guarantee justice to all citizens, irrespective of gender, tribe and religion.
This is the route we must follow in our quest for an inclusive, peaceful, united and progressive Nigeria.
I celebrate all Oyigbo Residents on this new month. You are a major pillar for the development and survival of our state.
Your commitments and sacrifices to the progress of our state have been a major reason why we have continued to exist as one and recorded many victories in times community challenges.
No matter the challenges we face today as a Local Government, I urge us to remain selfless in service, patriotic in action and focused on the cause of nation-building.
Let us continue to serve with honour, dignity and love in whatever place we find ourselves so that we can achieve peace, unity and progress in all our lands.
Happy New Month
Hon. Ifeanyi Onyeukwu
Today, My efforts towards consolidating societal development in Oyigbo was recognized at an Award ceremony in Oyigbo Local Government Area, Rivers State.
I was pleased that the Oyigbo Merit Award Team sees enough meaning and strength in what I am doing to keep the Local Government Area clean, promote peace, and create job opportunities and sustainable development in Oyigbo.
I truly appreciate the Award and will continue to do my best to promote and develop the Oyigbo community.
Continue to do the good work.
God bless Oyigbo Merit Award.
No matter how you feel never allow what angers you to control you. Try to have a balance and control it. Life is simple.
As we look out for victory today, i kindly ask everyone living in Oyigbo to come out enmasse and change the narrative with their voter's card.
Oyigbo is no longer a family business.
It is for us and not for certain individuals.
Come all out and vote ACCORD PARTY.
God bless you.
It was a nice outing as I joined supporters and friends to sensitize the people of Oyigbo about our party and plans for Oyigbo local government area when I become the chairman come 17th April 2021.
I appreciate the good people of Oyigbo who believe in me and came all out with oneness to make it a success.
Let's come all out with our voter's card on Saturday 17th April and make history by voting ACCORD PARTY.
God bless you.
I was at Umuwayi today, where I had the opportunity to discuss with the women about my plans and great innovations and how it can help develop them and people around their community if I become Oyigbo Local Government Chairman on the 17th of April.
They shared their challenges and how the government had abadoned them.
I was touched when an elderly woman shared her pains and how she had tried to seek for government interventions.
The women of Umuwayi are great women of potential and as such should not be out of the list for government interventions.
Oyigbo Local Government Area over the years has been left on its own. The growing intimidation, poverty and abadonment has closed sources of livelihood of the inhabitants.
We are tired.
We want something good.
We want a leader who understands the people plight.
Even before now I have tried as a philanthropist to bring Oyigbo back to its Glory by initiating OKOC(Operation Keep Oyigbo Clean) in 2016.
I was inaugurated as Chairman of OKOC in the presence of Chisom D**e (House of Assembly),
John Nwachukwu (Special Adviser to Wike),
Desmond Akawo (Campaign Chairman to Wike).
It will be with happiness to right the wrongs of Oyigbo LGA.
God bless you.
