I appreciate the endorsement by Wise County Conservatives! Don’t forget that early voting for the May 7th election has already started! Voters may vote at any polling site during early voting, so if you’re running errands or looking to do it while on a break from work and decide to get out and vote check the polling locations below. Our polling location in Boyd is the Boyd Community Center located @ 420 E. Morton Ave Boyd, TX 76023. I hope I can count on your support. Just remember when you’re at the polls, a vote for McBride is a vote for A Fresh Face and A New Start!

Don’t forget about the Wise County Candidate Forum for all School Board Candidates this Wednesday. I will be speaking at the forum touching on topics concerning BISD from the infrastructural needs to teacher/paraprofessional quality of life to addressing bullying throughout BISD campuses. There is growth coming to the area and we need to re-evaluate the way our district is addressing it. Certain members of the school board said publicly at the last school board meeting that they now see that we as a district are behind the ball on addressing the infrastructural needs . We need to start being proactive in addressing the issues for our district!

I have RSVP’d for this event and hope to see you there! I am excited to continue to engage with the community and participate in another avenue for voters to get to know the candidates.

My core goal is to change the way and manner in which we forecast progress to the area. By doing so I believe we will be able to ensure that every student receives the education they deserve, while voting on measures that provide support to the ISD staff by providing them with the resources, tools and infrastructure that they need to allow the students to achieve all their goals and objectives.
My effort “if elected” would center on serving all children in the Boyd ISD Community, understanding that no one child’s education is more important than another’s. We are a community centered on traditions and we should celebrate those traditions, not criticize them. Our schools are here to serve the needs of every child in the district and the school board is here to serve the interest of the community and school district to which it serves.
The school board, district staff and personnel, school staff, parents and students must be partners in order for Boyd ISD to be successful in providing every student a proper education.

Hello, my name is Christopher McBride and I am running for Place 6 on the Boyd ISD School Board. My family and I moved to the community of Boyd in 2019. We chose to move to Boyd because we wanted our children to go to a school in a smaller community. We had also heard through family, who had relocated to the Boyd area the previous year, that Boyd Elementary was a great place to enroll our children. We fully intend for our children to attend Boyd ISD schools for all 13 years of the primary formal education.
I appreciate all of the community and school traditions that I am aware of in Boyd and the core values they have been founded on. “If elected” to the school board I don’t have plans to change any of the aspects or traditions that make Boyd “Boyd America”.
