I really only write reviews when I feel like a show is getting way too much of
praise or way too little.
Lucifer is the story of the devil, played by Tom Ellis; the series opens on him in
Los Angeles, after he deserted Hell to take a vacation in Los Angeles.
He becomes involved in the murder investigation of a close friend of his,
and meets and befriends an LAPD homicide detective, named Chloe Decker,
played by Lauren German. The pair become fast friends.
In terms of story, Lucifer is mad at his father, God, for sending him to Hell
all of those millennia ago. He constantly looks for proof God is manipulating
him, and feels alone because no human believes him that he’s the Devil, or
that his angel wings are gone and it’s his dad’s fault.

Lucifer is a lovable if narcissistic character, but
shows real character development and a good heart. The show is based on the idea
that in this universe is misunderstood and Lucifer Morningstar is, in-universe,
a good guy, who happens to be blamed for all of humanities mistakes, sins,
and problems.

I really only write reviews when I feel like a show is getting way too much of
praise or way too little. I love heist movies/series.
So it makes sense that I would finally end up watching this one.
This Spanish heist show follows the robbers, the hostages and cops involved.
All 8 robbers have nicknames and their leader is simply called "The Professor".
"The Professor" is the mastermind behind the heist who brings our criminals
together to live in a villa for months to make sure the planning and ex*****on
is perfect. This story unfolds through both real time during the heist and
flashbacks leading up to the heist and is narrated by one of the robbers
code name "Tokyo". She gives insight to the heist itself and the characters
involved in this massive and intricate chess game. Of course we have the law,
Inspector Raquel and her partner Angel are the main negotiators making sure
this heist ends quickly and without casualties.
