Trying my hand at something outside of Steel Challenge. is a very fun match. We had movers, Texas stars, hidden targets behind barrels, and some fast stuff too. My rimfire upper ran flawlessly using mags. Thanks to for letting me represent such a great family at matches.
When you absolutely, positively have to hit that target in the next county. Loading some of the good stuff today for some long shots.

Boy was I rusty yesterday. Had a few decent strings, but couldn’t put a stage together for anything. My Switchbolt ran great, and the from kept the targets bright and easy to see. Hoping that life will slow down a bit now so I can get back to shooting regularly.

I had the chance to shoot my forecast match in 5 months today. RFRO wasn’t too bad, and my Switchbolt ran great with ammunition. My GMR-15 was reliable as always. Thanks to and for letting me be part of the family.
So, this is a pic from one of my scouting cameras right at the last light of deer season. There’s always one comedian in the bunch.
A little late season freezer filling today. I had to try out my .280AI with and This rifle is crazy accurate, and I was able to do my part as well.
Ok, I will see myself out now.
Little guy connected on a great shot for his very first deer. Thanks to for making a great rifle for these youngsters and for that awesome H4350 that made his .243 bark.
Little guy getting dialed in for deer season. He’s determined to get one next weekend.
My GMR-15 Ultralight helped me have a successful day today with the Rocket City Practical Shooters. My Switchbolt was rock solid as well. Always proud to represent and all of our other sponsors like , , .usa
I am proud to be part of this team and representing our fantastic sponsors again this year. Here’s to a great 2021 season!
A cool start to the day with Rocket City Practical Shooters, but it turned out to be pleasant. My JP GMR-15 Ultralight treated me right again. It is fast becoming my workhorse. My Magnum Research Switchbolt ran perfectly as usual. kept the targets bright and crisp for me. Thanks to and for having me as part of the team. This let my year end on a high note. Oh, is a pretty good coach too.
It was definitely a tough week with the loss of my Mom on Monday, but I decided to go ahead and shoot yesterday and to do my best for her. My times were not great, but I was able to hold it together enough to finish strong. My GMR-15 Ultralight did it again, and my Switchbolt ran flawlessly. I can’t thank and enough for their support. My eyes were covered by and my ears by while .usa kept the muzzle down for me with their Falcon comp.
It was a little cool today, but we still got it done. I made GM today in PCCO and was glad to have my friends there when it happened. I also made some good cuts in RFRO, so GM is around the corner with it too. I feel fortunate to be part of the family. They have been a huge help. has helped me develop my shooting beyond what I had hoped. built a great GMR-15 for me that ran perfectly all day. My Switchbolt continued to be 100% reliable as well with my ammunition. I won’t trust my eyes to anything but glasses. The contrast is simply the best available.
Had a good day at Cavern Cove with the Rocket City Practical Shooters yesterday. I am finally dialing my times down some. This was just a six stage match with an outlaw stage, but everything felt pretty solid. Both guns ran flawlessly. This is an appropriate time for me to be thankful for my sponsors and shooting family. They provide more help than I could ever ask for.
My new EDC rig showed up today. I’d trust my life to this combo.
Went to work with the master today, and my rifle left with a tattoo to rep our team.
I went to the Kentucky State Steel Challenge match this weekend and had a great time. The staff was friendly and things ran great. I was fortunate enough to come in first in Master class PCCO and second in Master Class RFRO. My JP GMR-15 Ultralight was spot on, and my Magnum Research Switchbolt was flawless. I can’t say enough just how much I appreciate my team and our sponsors. They provide outstanding support and products.
This little guy is steadily chopping away at his times. His Mimi came to watch him shoot today and he couldn’t help but set some personal bests in front of her. We are so thankful for our sponsors and their support.
Who doesn’t love shooting a JP? My GMR-15 is one of my favorite rifles to shoot. Smooth and fast, you won’t go wrong with one.
Do you clean your mags? I had neglected mine for a while and it bit me in a match yesterday. They are all cleaned up for WSSC this week now. The Rotary Magazine Assembly Tool makes this job very easy. I appreciate their sponsorship of the Steel Target Paint shooting team. Their parts are first class.
