Basically what this means is The brain’s neural network becomes stronger the more it does a certain task. Each time it repeats the task the more efficient it is at doing it. Understanding this is awesome! It helps provide motivation to turn desires into habits. If you begin to practice saying aloud and writing down all your grateful for it’s more than a practice of positive thinking. It’s linking networks. How? First you must think and meditate on the good things that happened in your day. This involves going back into your memory and stepping into those good feelings from different events. Second, saying you’re grateful for it out loud while feeling those feelings links the feeling of gratitude to those good feelings. Writing them down further reinforces that link and demands of your mind to create more of these events, to elicit these good feelings that brings about this grateful feeling. It can be so amazing and powerful as these networks grow and are strengthened you will begin to crave this practice of gratitude at the end of each day... what are you grateful for today?
Believe you are amazing, because you are!
