My name is Abraham Usiju Ayuba from Nigeria( I'm a Gay man). 
I was born in adamawa state, Nigeria from a family of 6(dad, mom, 2 brothers, 1 sister and me). I have been in the closet for all my life. In 2018 my brothers suspected I was gay and they confronted me which I denied although they read my WhatsApp chat and Instagram chat, cause they go through my phone while I'm asleep. In 2019, December 31st 2019 I was confronted again but this time at night and outside by my brothers and they said they'd beat me if I don't change and I said do your worst cause this who I'm and no need denying and they beat me up and push me to the gut. I had injuries on my knees, but it healed. Although I graduated from university in 2017 with Bsc Information technology and I always had this dream of schooling and living outside country. So in 2020 I started my journey of travel to Canada and I got admission in 2020 to Memorial University to study education technology (masters),I applied for visa and it was approved on 17th March 2021. My dad promised to sponsor me that was on 17th January when I started my application, fast forward to 28th February when my mom came back home from a tribal meeting, just because she was 30 minutes because she had to rush someone to the hospital, my dad started beating my mom and when I stopped him at him he still came back and I tried again and he felt I wanted to beat him and he took knife to attack me and he said I should leave his house that I'm not his son and I left at night by 8pm with an injury under my feet and I had to sleep in front of the gate in the cold. The next morning I took my things after he left for work and I went to my working place and they offered me accommodation. Fast forward to 17th March when I got my visa approved, I told my dad and he said he won't pay and I shouldn't come to his house and I was devastated to the point of death, I felt my dreams were shattered.Now I'm recently started a gofundme to help me raise money to travel to Canada. Please I need your support. Below are my documents".
