Inspiration on wheels! 🥇 Despite the odds, Rydelle Abarico claimed 1st place (GOLD) at the 2023 Downhill Skateboarding, while David Chanco landed 4th place at the 2023 Khao E-to Competition in Prachinburi, Thailand.

Rydelle, a force to be reckoned with since she started at 17, showcases the true spirit of the game with unmatched passion and skill. Their solidarity and love for the sport shine through. A triumph that resonates beyond the slopes. 🛹💖

We, the organizers of the Calayo Downhill Longboard Competition, Rollerblade Freeride, and Campsite Jamming at Calayo, Nasugbu, Batangas, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of the longboard and rollerblade aficionados who participated in the competition, cooperated and shared with us your resources and talents to make possible and exciting the recently concluded sporting event. To the hospitable people of Calayo, Nasugbu, Batangas and more specifically to the Honorable Mayor Jose Barcelon and Honorable Vice-Mayor Mildred Sanchez, please accept our wholehearted gratefulness and appreciation for your incomparable support and cooperation.

Our profound indebtedness and acknowledgment likewise go to all the frontline crew members who enthusiastically worked together as a team along with the local government's medical and safety volunteers who stood by with eagle-eyed readiness to act in times when medical attention and emergency were needed. To the band that played heartwarming tunes during the event, Marami salamat po.

Many thanks also to Sir Tony Ortega of the Philippine Roll Ball Association for the exuberance in introducing to us and priming up our interest in promoting the new sport of roll ball.
