ATMS Pickle Club
The ATMS Pickle Club is a coalition of students, staff, parents, and alum, united by pickles.
We just released the date for the Upper Cumberland Pickle Festival 2024 on Saturday and we already have 14 vendors and 7 sponsors confirmed. That’s a BIG DILL! 🥒🥒🥒 Keep them coming!
Let us know if you want to be a vendor and/or a sponsor!

Just a reminder that we are looking for people to take part in a Mental Health Awareness campaign we are doing for Mental Health Awareness Month.
We are looking for anyone who would be open to speaking about their struggles, successes, insight, and experiences regarding mental health. Anything from regular-degular people to mental health practitioners and everyone in between.
We will post the link to the form in the comments. Feel free to comment or direct message for more details.
If you are on instagram, please spam this account with (nice) comments asking them to come to the Upper Cumberland Pickle Festival 2024. Tag in the comments.
Something like, “PLEASE come to ’s Pickle Festival on May 4, 2024! We need the pickle corndog!”
Last year, they said they don’t have a mobile unit. This year, I said we will find the equipment they need and feed and house the employee or two that come. WE NEED THE PICKLE CORNDOG!

With the rise in mental health issues since covid, and the impact it can have on the school community, the Pickle Club is going to do a campaign in May, which is Mental Health Awareness Month.
The campaign will highlight the increase of mental health issues since covid, normalize seeking help when we need it, provide simple ways people can support themselves and others, and reduce the stigma regarding mental health in general.
We would love for community members to become involved.
If you would be willing to share your personal experience with any aspects of this and be a part of a video campaign, please fill out the form below.

We are SO proud of both of these teams today! Super Strikers and Sharks, you put on a SHOW for the whole school! ⚽️🔥🏆
WHAT. A. FINAL! Both teams played their hearts out! Tie game, down to penalty kicks with another tie, and then the Super Strikers sealed the deal in sudden death with the winning goal. Congratulations to BOTH the Sharks and Super Strikers for the fairy tale Final and INCREDIBLE ending to the 2023 Recess Cup!
VIVA, SUPER STRIKERS! ⚽️🏆🔥
Recess Cup Final 7th Period Fundraiser Results:
First off, we just want to thank everyone who took part in this and hyped it up. It has been so fun, and hilarious, to see the level of competitiveness we have in some corners of this building! *COUGH*fifth grade*COUGH*
Mrs. Moss's kids were making vending machine sacrifices (as she was talking astronomical amounts of smack), several of Mrs. Hines's kids did MANUAL LABOR to bring in money (Teigan Troupe-Harris did extra work around his house and on his grandmother's farm to bring in his $160. FARM LABOR!), kids brought in coins every day, and some convinced their parents to write huge checks. OVERALL, before concessions at today's game, we have managed to raise $4,739.15! That's amazing!
When Mr. Dalton finished inputting all the money into the spreadsheet, created sums for each class, and hit the "sort Z to A" on the sums column, his heart literally fell out of his chest for a second seeing how close the top two were.
When he went to Mrs. Hines's room on Friday to collect money, they told him to collect everyone else's and come back, because the entire class was engaged in A Beautiful Mind-esque math problem on the board, trying to calculate how much more they needed based on a previous vague email Mr. Dalton had sent out about rankings, and what they knew they had raised up and until then. Welp, their math MATHED!
Congratulations to Mrs. Hines's 7th period class on BARELY bringing it home! Mrs. Moss, you fought HARD and were a fierce competitor! Norah Swann, Hadley Newton, Tiegan Troupe-Harris, Moises Martinez, Briella West, and Hutson Grogan are the top individual earners, and they will also be in the VIP tent with Mrs. Hines’s class.
