Hey all. I haven’t posted in a while so I figured I’d shoot one out there.
The last two years of the alumni game have been fantastic! Growing bigger and bigger. this year I’d like to get enough participation that we can run a young peeps and an over the hill game. We were really close last year.
Forth of July lands on a Thursday this year which makes planning a date interesting. We will be having the game, just have to get together with the soccer club and see when. I’d say definitely around the forth like the last couple of years.

Thank you everyone for coming out today! What a success!! Everyone convince a classmate to play next year so we can have a younger and an older game.

For the totals, 39 players in all. 26 over 35 ers and 13 youngers.

Tomorrow is the day!!! 11 am. Try to get there a little early so we get everything situated. Stop at the concession stand on the way in to get ur shirt and sign a form.
There will be concessions being served. Water, Gatorade, and hot dogs. All the $$ going to the club’s scholarship

All right sports fans. So registration is closed for the game. We have 40+ people signed up!!! So with that said, if anyone else wants to sign up they can contact me. I’ll roster them but the shirt order is already in.
Since we have such an outstanding showing, we are going to play 2 games I’m hoping that we’ll get a few more people so we can have some subs but if peeps want they can play both games.
Games will start July 2 at 11am.
This is going to be on the turf off of Linwood ave in the village. This is school property so no beers or smoking anything. We want to keep the tradition alive here

Congratulations to Makaylah Higgins!!
She is the first recipient of the Warsaw soccer club scholarship
She was presented with a check for $500 towards her college career at D’youville
Makaylah has been in the Warsaw soccer club for 12 years. She’s been a leader on the field and off. She assists coaching the younger girls during the fall and winter. They love it when she shows up. She’s a role model for these girls
Thanks to all that participated and donated money at last years alumni game. All of the proceeds were used for this scholarship

Alright. We are going to start registration on the 20th of this month for the 2nd annual alumni game
We are going to attempt to have three games again. The under 35 boys, under 35 girls, and the ever popular over the hill coed game
If we don’t have enough players for all the games we’ll just put them together like last year. We’ll see.

Hey all. So we are starting to plan the 2nd annual Warsaw soccer alumni game. We are planning on going with July 2nd, which is the Sunday right before the 4th.
If we get enough participants I’d like to do the old peeps game and a younger peeps game. But we’ll see who we get. We are going to charge I think $30 for the registration. This includes the chance to play ball with a bunch of old people, sing the pledge of allegiance with Jim carter, jersey, and donate to the warsaw soccer club scholarship fund which is giving out a $500 scholarship this year!!
I will keep everyone informed as I’m informed. Get the word out! Save the date! And new ideas of how to change it up are welcome.

So we are on!!!! We have 26 over 35 players and 4 under 35. So we’re going to play one game including everyone.
I’m making up teams now. I’m trying not to stack teams but I have no idea who is old and fat and who is keeping there girlish figure these days.
So, I’m going to have Tara, the head honcho of the club make sure I didn’t screw up and I’ll post it. Shirt are getting ordered.

We are stuck at 15 players for the over 35 game, 2 for the under girls and a big fat 0 for the under boys.
Talked to Jim carter this weekend and he will be making a guest appearance as the referee for the over game.

Our alumni games are in jeopardy of being cancelled!! There is extremely low numbers signing up. This is not crazy competitive go out and break someone soccer. This is let’s have some fun, make some memories, see some peeps we haven’t seen in a while hang out soccer. Games for the kids, concessions, and help out the soccer club with our push for getting a scholarship together

So even if ur the “ I’m too out of shape” guy or girl, U CAN STILL PLAY!!
