Sat. Oct. 5 is the debut of All Hallows Flea. It's like punk rock flea market meets Halloween. Anything goes, as long as it fits the Halloween vibe. Retro/vintage Halloween decor, spooky artists, monsters/horror, vintage clothing, tarot card readers, DJ Culture, and more!

Inspired by the alters in the San Miguel Cemetery in Oaxaca Mexico, during Dia de los Mu***os, a moving and magical celebration paying tribute to past love ones and welcoming them back for the festivities ❤️ Oaxaca will always be a favorite place to be! Hopefully I’ve done some justice to the representation of the authenticity of the Day of the Dead❤️

The almost finished piece ❣️

I’m often asked if I plan my art pieces, draw it on paper? Choose pieces to use? Idea first…?
The truth is, most of the time I’m inspired by something that stirs my soul, invokes a memory or a feeling.
This piece was inspired by a piece my artist friend, Tina Berrier created. I‘m drawn to birds, so that got my attention ❤️ the rest of the piece sort of makes itself. I look through my embarrassingly, massive inventory of treasures and audition things until it just works and the composition is pleasing. All of my pieces have meaning… but it’s interpretation varies depending on the eye of the beholder ❣️
