Love this quote.
Check these out . These are all loose leaf and smell amazing. My favorite is the autumn spice latte. They had 2 more, I believe cupcakes and red velvet teas, but I prefer spices more.
More herbs guys. Didn't realize these grew so long. Here is some lemon verbena. Tea time this morning
Woohoo. Check out my basil. Got so many today. Smells so good. Time for pesto
A little harvest today.
Jujube and banana peppers.
Yumm. Pinapple peach slush. So refreshing.
Finally got my highlights because those roots needed a touch up.
My new gym addition. I miss boxing so much. I remember being part of LA Boxing in OC and then went to UFC. Since I started building my garage gym due to covid and I've enjoying just working out here. I'm not much of a runner, but can box for hrs.
Morning fuel
Quinoa, home made almond milk, cinnamon and pumpkin spices, protein powder, strawberries, blueberries from my garden, and scoop of home made almond butter
My new babies
Aglaonema and Peperomia. Love the patterns on these.
Need to rearrange my office to make room for these
My crazy Charlie. Beautiful evening for a walk. This dog was meant for hiking. He loves the outdoors. Can't wait to do more fun adventures with him.
My "cedron" came back to life. I got it last year and thought it died, but saw some life in it and decided to replant. It's growing so beautiful.
Lemon verbena is used for digestive disorders including indigestion, gas, colic, diarrhea, and constipation. It is also used for agitation, joint pain, trouble sleeping (insomnia), asthma, colds, fever, hemorrhoids, varicose veins, skin conditions, and chills.
I mean this little plant is so amazing. It's used in Peru a lot and when I found it i was so excited to start my little tea garden.
I cut a few stems and let them dry out, then added hot water and let it infuse for half an hour. I also added some agave for sweetness and had a cold tea. With this weather, wasn't looking forward towards hot tea.
I have lemongrass growing as well and hope to find chamomile as well.
Quinoa porridge this AM.
I always soak quinoa at night, makes it quicker to cook. Added cinnamon, almond milk, and chocolate protein. Then added blueberries, toasted walnuts, and scoop of almond butter.
I find quinoa more satisfying than oatmeal and easier in my tummy.

Dangg. I can't never get that drizzle right for a good insta pic.
Salmon, greens, and cilantro lime salsa. Did an hr of and and man was I hungry. Haven't felt hunger like that in a while since I've skipped several of the workouts. But that's OK, never to late to start again, again and again. 😁❤
Morning breakfast. Even when I want to try something new like pancakes, I always go to my oats. Just so easy to do.
My beautiful tree giving me food for life.
Omg. I'm a sucker for I found these beauties at the swamp meet. So beautiful and love how they trail. Definitely need space for my beauties.
Their colors are so beautiful and there are over 75 different types. I saw one that was pink, wow, but it was already bought. Next time for sure.
Finally did a hiking trail. Fell twice, but wasn't so bad. Definitely need better shoes. Did about 3.4 miles and 3 hrs hike. Today woke up with a sore butt and arms. Definitely a good workout.
This was and we just picked a trail. The beginning was pretty steep then all downhill and walking.
Farm fresh eggs and strawberries. These strawberries are huge, the size of an egg. Omelets and oatmeal this week
Hoping to hit a trail this weekend. Not sure which and hopefully I can take one of my furkids.
My birthday gift. So pretty. Have the perfect spot for this little one.

These beauties have new homes right next to me. The Money Plant and Wondering Jew.
Trying to add more plants inside my house. I don't have much luck keeping them alive hehe, but doing my best.
My beautiful peas. My little is still under construction. Pruned all my fruits trees today. Zucchini hasn't been successful with plenty of aphids killing them, but hoping this year I'll get some.
My blueberries are starting to bloom as well.
Overnight protein oats
Added a scoop of chocolate protein to my oats along with soy milk, bananas, and almond butter. Delicious

Morning fuel
Oats, flax seed, almond milk, strawberries, fuji apple, and chopped walnuts.
Another busy day for me. Hoping to get in a workout before taking off.
We all yoga.
Did Fridays WOD . With this heat in Perris, I needed something indoors.
14 EMOM
1st minute was 4 deadlifts and body weight lunges
2nd minute was 4 deadlifts with push ups plus tap and tap
Then repeat for 14 minutes
I then added the gymnastics accessory. I love hand stands and trying to build where I can lift from the floor and also do some walking handstand.
Then had my postworkout which consistent of almond milk, vanilla protein, blueberries, and banana.
My first Quinoa drink. Been wanting to do this drink since my last visit in Peru. The street vendors sell them every morning. Its a great alternative to oats or if you are gluten intolerance. Quinoa is Gluten-free woohoo
I first boiled 1 fuji apple. Cut in small pieces
Added 3 cloves
1 stick of cinnamon
About 15 min to cook it. Do not cover.
Once the apples were soft i added 1/4 cup of overnight soaked quinoa. Soaking helps remove some of the naturally occurring phytic acid in the grain, which helps improve digestibility and speed cook time.
Some add small pineapples or oranges. Up to you.
Cooked for 5-10 more minutes. I like mine thick and heavy. I used immersion blender so it gets thicker. Done.
Have your ever had a chocolate chip postworkout smoothie. This was delicious and filling. Did from his book seriously the best.
I love how his book is all wholefoods and clean. Give it a try
Made some protein bars
I love keeping my meals simple. Postworkout was chicken, brown rice, zucchini and mixed cabbage with low sodium teriyaki sauce
I had 3 very ripe bananas so ended up doing some protein bars. Recipe is so simple
1 ½ cups (355g) ripe mashed banana (about 3 medium or 4 small bananas)
66g of vanilla protein. I used Arbonne
2 cups (160g) old-fashioned oats
¼ cup (56g) mini chocolate chips
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt
Bake for 15 min on 350 degrees.
Give them a try. 119 calories 19C/7P/3F
Hubby and I went Idyllwild today. Very short, but so pretty today. Nature and chocolate.
