I was having hot flushes for nearly 8 years due to chemo and tamoxifen due to breast cancer, nothing worked. I froze hot water bottles, but they were too hard and made my pillow wet. So I came up with Cool Hearts and Cool Pads, with covers so I could wash them and keep them clean. Luckily I am over the worst and only have hot flushes now and again, but the minute I feel it starting I go stratight to the fridge for my trusty Cool Heart.
BTW, they also work great for sprains, etc.

When the hot flushes hit you, these give you immediate relief (as long as you remember to keep at least one in the freezer); brain fog is also quite annoying 😂

The chemo and tamoxifen gave me terrible brain fog, that still haunts me on a daily basis. I also suffered appalling hot flushes, most of the day, but especially at night. They seemed to start in a small spot on my chest and then radiated upwards to my neck and then to the back of my head. In winter when my family were snug in the house, I would stand in the garden in a shorts and vest, trying to cool down. I put my pillow in the freezer, but this did not work very well and was quite unhygienic. I started freezing hot water bottles, but they were very hard and uncomfortable.
That was the reason I created my first cool heart and cool heart pillow.
