So excited for this market on May 11th - Downtown Burlington, NC!

It feels like yesterday we were going to our two tiny dancers’ recital & today we’re getting ready for a semi-formal & the prom is right around the corner! 🥹 Life just seems to be moving at warp speed! We took my daughter’s junior bridesmaid dress that she wore back in December and altered it into a cute LBD that will be great for her dance tonight! Here’s to repurposing and reusing! 🥂

A little Valentine’s Vignette for this love holiday without all the hearts & teddy bears. I definitely prefer adding subtle, lovely touches without buying all V-Day specific merch. Yay for vintage & second hand! 🥰❤️

I love it when I can reuse & rework something I already have for a solution! This blue duvet & comforter used to be on my oldest daughter’s queen size bed but it had seen better days! The zipper was completely broken & a couple of faint bleach spots speckled the fabric but instead of throwing it out I cut it down & sewed it up for new twin size bedding. She leaves next weekend and will be in a dorm room for four weeks so instead of buying all new twin bedding this will do the trick! Once she’s back home we can focus on the her queen bedding which was definitely needing some attention anyway!

So many sweet little dishes for all all the things… jewelry, soap, loose change, candles… the list goes on & on! I’ll have these with me on Sunday, June 4th at Curiosities at the Curb! Noon - 3pm FREE (Early Bird 11am-Noon $2 entry, includes a raffle ticket to win goodies from the vendors!)

Tickets are $2 each and are now on sale at the Market Info Hub on Saturdays 7:30am-Noon and Wednesdays 8am-Noon. Otherwise, this great event is FREE admission Noon-3pm!

“It’s just like the one my Grandma had!” 🥰 I think that’s some of the sweetest words I hear at my Pop-Up events. I’ll have the ones pictured here along with many more finds like Granny had this Saturday in Fuquay-Varina on Depot St. May 20th, 10-2pm. Hope to see you there!

I found 10+ of these little milk glass pots a while back & knew they would be a great item to have on hand. Sure enough, they have been the perfect thing to use for teacher appreciation gifts. I potted them up with a basil plant, added a DIY herb marker, & included one of my favorite summer pasta recipes. Voilà, gift complete! They’re sunning on the porch until we give them out tomorrow. I’m incredibly thankful for all the wonderful teachers my kids have had this year & hope they enjoy this small token of thanks! 💓 P.S. I’ll have a few extra pots + other milk glass items at the Pop Up this weekend! Hope to see you there!
