I created this party following the story of Cinderella from rags to riches. The girls entered through the kitchen entry where the Evil Stepmother made them put on their rags and put them to work decorating doll shaped cakes in order to earn their way to the ball. After she left them behind, the Fairy Godmother whisked them up the back stairs to a room of gowns and tiaras. One by one, they made their way down the grand staircase introduced by a page into the ballroom. There they met princesses and took a real horse and carriage ride through the neighborhood.
