Somebody should be having his snooze but is instead is having cuddles and spotting ducks! 🥰 can snooze after the book, love it when he brings books for cuddles and stories 💕 definitely need to make the most of them before he's 'too big' and doesn't want snuggles anymore!

So as some of you know from previous posts we've been rather busy this summer holidays with our holiday to Tenby, remodeling the kitchen and time away with family down south and leaving school uniform shopping right to the last minute (never again!🙈🤣) so I've been rather quiet on all my social media accounts.

Now the kitchen is finally done (minus the flooring, so please excuse that and minor finishing bits in the utility room) I am so very pleased with it and my beautiful tiles!!! Such a huge difference from the beige boring kitchen (1st pic) to what it is now (2nd pic)! And the kids are back in school so ready for a new month and fresh start!

Eeeeek new releases day!!! 🥰some absolutely gorgeous new books out 😁 we've a busy day at the farm with the kids today, but keep an eye out for upcoming posts soon with the new titles now available! 📚

I'm soo excited, we actually got chance to set up a bit of bookish play yesterday for the first time in ages!!!

The kitchen isn't finished yet but it's a kitchen and not a building site anymore, cupboard items are starting to go back in! Just waiting for my ovens to be connected then it will all be usable (minus being painted, tiling and flooring 🙈) 😁 So I'm starting to get my living and dining room back!! 🥰🎉

Yesterday we enjoyed looking through our lift the flap Bugs and Butterflies book! 🐞🐛🦋 This is such a beautiful book with so many fascinating facts about insects and their life cycles combined with wonderful pictures and flaps to open to find out more!

We combined it with one of our favourite activities of cut flowers and our minbeast and butterfly toys. Belle (5 yrs) loved learning about insect life cycles, having me help her read whilst she lifted the flaps, then went to show what she had learnt of the life cycles with the toys by wrapping a caterpillar in a leaf as its cocoon the making it emerge as a butterfly with the toy. Where as Oli (2 yrs) loved looking at the colourful images and lifting all the flaps.

Just a bit of a personal post to say sorry I'm a bit quiet atm. Everything is very busy as we are in the process of having a new kitchen put in so the house is upside down and feeling rather crowded right now, especially with all 3 kiddies at home with it being the holidays! 🙃 lol.

🌸 Hello August!!! 🌸

Is it just me or is this year absolutely flying by. I can't believe we're into August already!

This month is a very exciting and busy month for me as I have lots going on!

We have lots of lovely new releases, offers and so much going on with Usborne, not to mention the reduced joining fee for £40 for 40 days offer! There's never been a better time to join!

Also I'm having a new kitchen fitted so have been busy clearing out all the cupboards this weekend ready for it to start being ripped out tomorrow!

Then next week I am taking the kids down to Hertfordshire for 3 weeks to stay with my mum and her partner whilst the new kitchen is fitted. I'm soo excited to be coming home to a brand new kitchen after it 😍💗
