***I was 27 years old sitting on Santa’s lap with my older daughter, Donielle***
Our sequined dresses, and my granddaughter’s dresses were made by me.
My sewing machine was broken, so I actually made my granddaughter’s dresses with a needle and thread. My fingers were sore for days. But it was worth it. My grand babies looked so pretty.

When you are 73, you began to feel that God wants to use you to pass on a little wisdom. So let me try.
It takes boldness, perseverance, tenacity, thick skin and lots of praying to reach age 73 in one piece. Don’t take aging for granted. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you have, how cute or handsome you are, if you are blessed, you will reach age 73…but not in your own feeble strength- some of the bumps in the road will rip you apart. And trust me, only the mighty power of God can put you back together. Slow it down a pace and focus on where you want your life to go. Then pray and ask God to help you get there.
