Pensacola Songwriter Rounds Series

Our next show is in 3 weeks on December 10th and will feature Tanya Gallagher -- local songwriter and the future host of RadioLive, Hannah Mahute of the band , Quinn Erwin of the band , and me! Katie Dineen , host and founder of the show series.

There is a $5 cover charge at the door that goes toward paying the songwriters. For these shows, we cultivate a listening room atmosphere in , which makes for very intimate, special shows!

The Handlebar is located at 319 N Tarragona St, near downtown Pensacola.

We’ve been slow to post this, but just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone (pictured and not) who came to last Saturday’s Songwriter show at the as part of and . It was truly a “unique, eclectic, and heart felt” night, as one audience member told me in a very sweet message. We will be posting more about it soon, but just wanted to say on this rainy, gray morning, thank you. Thank you thank you thank you for sharing a truly special evening with us ♥️

11/11 songwriter show— come out to this SATURDAY and catch a FREE songwriter show featuring the lovely and talented . Food vendors and will be there satisfying your cravings for tacos and delicious vegan pastries. This is all part of ’s Night on the Tracks, so show up early to see all the other fun, including a hip hop dance performance by and a film showing of “Endless Vibration” by and . THIS SUNDAY we are hosting a special DOUBLE-ROUND for the .songfest at featuring 8 songwriters instead of our usual 4. Doors at 2 pm, show at 2:30 with and ; then after our intermission, and Bob Teague will take the stage. Come out Sunday to the Handlebar for another awesome songwriter show!

Next Saturday! The .songfest is putting on an all-original show at featuring , and ! $10 tickets, it’ll be an awesome night!

Sunday October 8th, we’re hosting a very special round featuring DOUBLE the songwriters for Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival .songfest. The first round from 2:30-3:30 pm will feature and touring L.A. songwriter . The second round from 3:45-5 pm will feature and former Nashville songwriter Bob Teague. Come out to Sunday, Oct 8th at 2 pm for an afternoon of live, original music in the round. 🎶

To kick off the songwriters festival, we’re hosting a round at ! It’ll be BYO drinks, snacks, folding chairs (some seating is available). Come catch songwriters at sunset in the garden! Tag a friend you wanna come to this with ♥️🎶

Eager to announce we’re partnering with the .songfest for October’s round & more! Songwriters, both local and national, will be performing in town and on the beach ALL WEE LONG! Show organizer will be hosting several events throughout the week, including a round at Tuesday the 3rd, a locals showcase at Wednesday the 4th, a full-band songwriter show at Saturday the 7th, and a DOUBLE songwriters round at Sunday the 4th. This Friday, four local will be doing a mini-round at ’s preview screening for Southern Storytellers, a national series that premieres Tuesday, July 18th. Tickets for the Friday event are sold out, but starting around 6:45 pm, we will livestream the hour-long songwriters round, featuring .tomboy and . 🎶

May’s round is THIS SATURDAY May 21st at 6 pm. Come hear original music in the round at . parked out front. It’ll be another great round; don’t miss out!

May’s round line-up! 🎶 It’ll be another fantastic night, and in the meantime, hear Bronson Webb’s original songs this Friday morning 10 am on WALA-FOX. Also, be listening to 88.1 Acoustic Interlude on Sunday afternoons to hear other local and national songwriters!

NOTE: We will be going back to early evening shows, with doors at 5 pm and show at 6 pm. The Handlebar also now has a permanent food truck ! 🚚🍔
