Yup, my 5 dogs help me plan.

Ice has been waiting for her forever home but she has received no interests so far. She is an adorable pup who has so much love to offer.
She is leash trained, crate trained as well as toilet trained. Understands basic commands too. Ice is a quick learner and is doing everything possible to make humans around her to fall in love with her. Strangely, she still hasn’t found the family she could call her own.
Traveling lies outside my comfort zone. I am a lazy person who hates to pack/unpack. I avoid social interactions. I don't like getting up early in the morning. Everytime, the night before my journey starts I get anxious thinking about how I will have to manage it all by myself. But I do it anyway. Because I love the thrill of doing the things I am scared to do. We all choose our own set of discomfort. This is mine. I feel accomplished. Each time I go out to far off places like these I learn a little more about myself. Pushing my boundaries keeps me from feeling rusted.
My happiness beside me, literally. It's been 10 days in Sikkim and this moment captures my journey in the most beautiful way, ever. On this entire trip he has been following me like a puppy and basically needs to see me at all times.Happy is a very fragile dog and his innocence kinda reflects on his face. I am glad that I brought him to Sikkim and noticed so many of his quirks. Everyday this little boy makes me feel so loved and greets me in the morning with his little tippity tappity dance. Am I just the luckiest or what ?
The longer you stare the more you will fall in love with it.
Had witnessed this beautiful sunset after my return from the Hatu peak hike. A beautiful closure.
There's only so much we can do in a lifetime. Relax. Or not.
The dog whisperer💛. Somebody called me this and I don't think I have ever been more proud of any other titles before. Well, I have made friends with some really aggressive dogs. That's true. But this dog here was quite docile and tried hard to woo Laayla but she kept on growling at him to the extent that he got hurt it seemed :(
Just look at this beauty. 💚 This was my room view at the stay in Kalpa. My original plan was to capture the Kinner Kailash mountain which is visible from the roof of the house I stayed in. There is a 79 feet vertical rock known as Shivlingam, situated at the top of the trek.
The trek takes around 2-3 days to complete. The most fascinating thing is that the Shivlingam can be seen changing it's color throughout the day.
But here it's actually hidden behind the clouds.😛
There are only a few rare things that can bring out the joy in me.
This magnanimous Buddha statue can be found in the Langza village which is situated at an altitude of 14500 ft from the sea level. It is one of the most popular images of the village. Langza is at a distance of 16 km from Kaza and is still quite unexplored. The isolation keeps the tradition and local culture preserved. Earlier, the place was known for fossil hunting but now there's a ban on selling those due to reckless mining, a local told. The fossils date back to when Spiti was submerged under the Tethys sea hundreds of millions year ago.
So, I have been travelling with my dogchild, Laayla across Himachal and she has been the best companion so far. Obedient, friendly with others and low maintenance. Basically, she didn't create any fuss. And, I have this newfound love for her. My heart gets full everytime I see her. The time passed by so quickly and this experience has been the most fulfilling journey till date. She didn't let me feel alone or awkward anyday. Each day starts with snuggled up mornings followed by long walks. And, man is she excited for those.. We go about our day meeting new hooman and doggo friends. She is like a celebrity here. Everyone wants to pet her and get clicked with her and in return she asks for long stretches of belly rubs. Meanwhile, i am happy playing the part of her photographer.
Night sky at Spiti. I have never seen these many stars in my life so I decided to click a few pictures on my phone. Here's how they turned out. Also, I am a total noob at photography.
It's the start that stops the most.
Doesn't she look like a gypsy girl with her distressed dirty hair and that little sparkle in her eyes.
Nako lake is a high altitude lake in Nako village, Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is surrounded by poplar and willow trees and which makes the site all the more pristine.
It started drizzling when i was at this beautiful spot in Chhitkul. Also, this umbrella belongs to a five year old, dog enthusiast, Griva. She lets you in all her family secrets, instantly 😛.
Just start walking even if the rucksack is heavy or your legs are shaking or you don't know the right direction, you'll find your way eventually.
Why do black and white pictures look so timeless?
Is it from the 1800s or 2000s nobody will ever know.
Lazy Monday!

All my favourite shades in one frame.
Flaunting it's myriad shades of blue, this pristine lake is situated at a height of more than 4500m.
Pangong Tso is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. It felt like a Win.
Throwback to my first solo trip.. I happened to backpack through this cold desert and pocketed so many wonderful memories and experiences. This was the view of Leh city from the top of Spituk Monastery.
How many of you have Ladakh on your bucket list??
