J originally came for a lash lift + tint last year then spotted my nail table and told me she had never had her nails done and wanted to treat herself just once 🥺

During her appointment she could not stop looking at her nails and commenting on how beautiful they were and how feminine they made her feel 💅🏼

When she was leaving she told me she was going to go get a cocktail so she could sit at the bar holding it to show off her nails 🍸😆

Let me start by saying a MASSIVE thank you to all the beautiful women who have attended my salon, become my amazing regular customers and recommended me to others. You have made my heart so full and I want you to know how much I appreciate you.

Most of my customers have either paid the deposit for their appointments or contacted me to let me know of faults they've come across in that part of the booking system and they recognise the need for this as a small business like mine.

Unfortunately, thanks to a recent few last minute cancellations or no shows, I can no longer be flexible about these deposits as it costs me money and the opportunity to offer these appointments to others.
So, from today, your appointment will not be considered confirmed until your deposit is paid and, as such, may be offered to another customer. If you intend to keep your appointment please pay the deposit as soon as possible to secure your date and time.

I have officially completely outgrown my nail space and it's driving me nuts 😒

Cannot wait for my home salon to be ready so I can move this stuff in and get it organised and looking beautiful 😍

Behind the Scenes of the Salon

So, a few weeks ago I finally got the building permit approved (after MUCH persistence on my part) and naively thought the rest would be simple 🙄

Turns out it's 6 weeks for supply of my cabinetry and 8-12 weeks for the custom window and door to enclose this space! So my dreams of being able to open next month are dashed 😭

In the meantime I'm going to share some behind the scenes stuff, the progress of the salon when it finally happens and share some info about me so when you can finally book an appointment you feel like you know me a bit better 😀

Did you know you should wash your make-up equipment after every use?

Clean brushes not only make your application smoother but also keep you from transferring the bacteria breeding in the brush back onto your face.

This is why I have so many brushes, so I don't have to wash every time I put make-up on and can stockpile and do them all at once (just don't wait as long as I did or it's a mammoth task 😅)
