Emily Dobson - Entertainer

I’ve just found out some terrible news! The icon - the Queen of Sand Bay - Our Nancy has sadly passed away! I may not have been at Pontins Sand bay for a long time but Nancy was one of the first regulars that I remember! She would always make my day when I had a chat with her & I’m so grateful that I did meet her when I did. She was practically one of the family to most of us blues with how often she would be there - which meant a lot when living so far away from home!
Nancy - you will always be remembered! Rest in peace Queen! 💙

Even though my holiday park journey is over (for now)! Keep watching this space as I’ve had a couple of calls already off my acting agency about some potential projects! 🫶🏻

I always forget to update this page 🤣
So last year I made a very big decision and to anyone who likes to keep up to date on my life I
have decided not to return to haven this year. The decision was not an easy one and I have had some amazing memories that will last a lifetime!
I’ve currently got a mini career change going on as a teaching assistant in primary schools but I still have my agency so you never know I might do some odd ents jobs here and there which is why I’m
still going to keep this page 💛 
Again thank you so much to everyone who has put a smile on my face when I’ve been here and made me feel a part of the haven family & thank you to all the guests and owners who have given such positive feedback whether that was to our face, wow comments and haven hero badges

Turns out I did not get that screen time which is okay as you don’t always make the scene but at least my friend who took me to the train station after got his screen time!

I had another fun year being jingle jangle the chief elf (for the 3rd year in a row) at Dobbies in Stockton! I worked with another amazing team and had two new elves work alongside me who have been incredible in their first year working here 💛
Unfortunately I’ve had to miss our final 2 days working here as I must have caught tinsel in my throat but I’ve heard my fellow elves smashed it yesterday and I know they can today!

I promise I’ll try my best for 2023 to keep updating my account as much as I can! May try posting a few videos from this year from my cabaret sets that I was meant to post this year 😂

Anyways! A very merry Christmas to you all and I hope everyone has a fantastic 2023 ❤️

It’s only come to my attention now that I didn’t announce what I am doing with my life now on this page 😂

So after being main stage presenter at Haggerston last year I have now moved to Haven’s Thornwick Bay resort to do the 2022 season as a “Solo artist” (AKA a vocalist) 🎤

It’s been such a blast so far to be part of this absolute dream team & to be given such an awesome opportunity to do the job that I’ve always dreamed of ever since I was young 🤩

Hey guys it’s been a while I know, I’ll soon post photos from my time at haven this season!

However UPDATE TIME , I can reveal that from tomorrow Jingle Jangle the elf will be returning to Dobbie’s garden centre in Stockton on Tees! 🥳

Lots of exciting things planned from games, breakfast with Santa, Santa’s grotto and much much more! So make sure if you do want to go , that you are going on the Dobbie’s website to book in advance and avoid disappointment! There’s loads of dobbies stores across the UK so find out where the closest store is to you! And if it happens to be the Stockton branch, then Jingle Jangle is looking forward to seeing you there ❤️☃️

Meet our Entertainment cast for 2021 there may be a few faces you recognises...

From back left through to back Right.

Back Left – Matt is an Events Host he is 22 years old from Norwich. He has previously been involved in pantos playing the role of buttons. This is his First season with Haven.

Zoe Is apart of our show cast as a Cast Dancer. She is 24 years old from Glasgow. Zoe has been a Team Leader at camp America and then spent the last 2 season working as an events host at Craig Tara before starting this season here as a Dancer.

Scott S Is our Events Host. He is 29 years old from Edinburgh. Scott has been a street performer and often performs at Edinburgh fringe. He did half a season last year at Far Grange before coming to Haggerston this year.

Amy is our Cast Dancer she is 22 years old from Perth. She spent 6 months performing overseas at club med la caravelle in Guadeloupe and has come to Haggerston to be a Dancer for our amazing show team.

Scott W is our Male Vocalist he is 33 Years old from Glasgow. Scott has a wealth of experience spending 5 years with TUI, 3 years with TED & 1 year at Thomas cook before joining Haven last year, this is his 2nd season here at Haggerston as our male vocalist.

Emily is our Main Stage Presenter she is 20 years old from Teesside. She has previously worked for Pontins and stared as an extra in Tracey Beaker. This is her first season for Haven.

Heading up the team is Tom our Entertainments Team Manager. Tom is 29 years old, Originally from York. Tom has spent 11 years working with Haven. Tom has worked at multiple parks over his years before joining Haggerston the summer of 2019. Tom loves nothing more than spending time with his daughter and creating amazing memories with her.

Meg is our Female Vocalist she is 25 years old from Leeds. It is Meg's 3rd season with haven, she started as a dancer and most recently vocalist last 2 seasons at Haggerston, Meg is super excited for another great season at Haggerston and meeting all our fantastic owners.

You will find the team out and about the park everyday and taking part in the light entertainment provided daily in the beer garden. Feel free to give them a visit and say hi.
