I absolutely love Great Maestro over Starfall! The black makes those chunky glitters pop and sparkle. They're so dynamic depending on the lighting.

Lost in Paradise has subtle black outlines throughout the design, and the green leaves are a great match to Prickly Pear 🍐

I started with My Solar Mate because...well, just look at it. With one of the most gorgeous color mixes and she end, the golden celestial designs really pop against the dark background.

💜Heart of the Cosmos is a purple very reminiscent of Glamsterdam, with a subtle shimmery texture.

Dark Nebula. 😩 I actually can't handle this one. I think it'll be a deep blue version of Night Terror and is such a gorgeous set!

Leo Rising - a wonderful cream with subtle golden flakes scattered throughout. It's been awhile since we've gotten such a great neutral!

Water Signs and Moon Phase are also so beautiful in their own right! Moon Phase does really seem to be a new color that really stands out as somrthing never been done.

Shimmer Down is on the outskirts of literally every mani I do But rarely makes it in. It has this amazing glitter and is a sheer pink that is transparent enough for the base color to show through, but my brain absolutely hates not knowing what the final look will be 🤣

As always, I left the clear plastic on during my initial placement. Second layers can be hard to reposition, especially with the warm weather making all the strips more stretchy, so this helps me get the nail in place first!

PS, CHECK OUT THE WEIRD LESSON IN LIGHT AND REFLECTIONS ON MY RING NAIL. The way the light reflects off the glitter has my ring nail looking like some trash photoshop 🤣

Nail Art Poll - Whimsical or Edgy?

To be fair, I think the crayon overlay could fit in both camps, as could a couple others but looking through my remaining overlays it struck me that different designs automatically get filtered into different vibes in my mind.

(The titles "Whimsical or Edgy" are definitely still in workshop - any other ideas for me on those? 🫣🤣)

All of these are retired from the Color Street site, so if you see one you'd like let me know! I am down to my last one on a couple of these.

Dragonfly Away, but with a twist.

No, literally. I turned it on its side and only used these strips for this pink lemonade layered cocktail look.

I actually *loved* how this looked, and I was not sure I would. Dragonfly Away is sheer, but the darker color near the tips helped covered up the tips of my nail.

What do you think about this sideways? Do you prefer this or as is, as seen on my other hand?

I had no plans with this hand so went with some randoms I had 🤷‍♀️ I love the effect of the vertical ombre under different overlays, it really makes it seem like it's an active color shift!

I'm also just gearing up waiting for those glitter dipped sets to arrive - they really make such great accents!

I love Scarlet Macaw as a way to bring out the deep crimson tones in the flowers!

As far as Mint to Be - it's actually the best. It has an almost metallic quality to it. I didn't make comparisons yet back when it first launched, so here's another that shows it compared with some others.

You liked this so much with the butterfly mani so I thought we'd try it again with peacocks!

Flock Together has more varied patterns across the different strips in the full set so that gives you even more easy flexibility when mixing up this set. As with the butterflies combos, I wanted to demo just how much you can change the vibe of the mani by swapping the accent color and leaving the middle nails the same.
