Last year, in between covid misery I was lucky enough to play a New Year’s Day set at a home grown doof which was curated with some close friends.
I won’t get the opportunity to do the same this year so I would love to share this set with everyone in the lead up to 2022 - hoping that it will be filled with happiness and freedom for everyone.

Big thanks to the Proxima Freq. for reaching out to CAINO - Music and myself to construct this set. We’ve found a style that we enjoy playing together which is the heavier side of tech house/ deep house with some progressive/melodic type tracks as well.

Every reason to be excited for this weeks Intercept as our brothers CAINO and D.Parry take the reins and deliver us a deep journey that traverses through melodic, groove, funk and a plethora of VIBES.
Originating from the west, groovy House and Techno local Melbourne legends D.Parry and CAINO have spent years supporting the electronic music scene. They’ve performed at the Let Them Eat Cake & Burning Seed (Natural Curiosities theme camp) festivals, and have thrown down sets at Revolver Upstairs, Xe54, Prince Bandroom and Penny Black (to name a few), some of Melbourne's staple venues for electronic music.
Over the recent years Ryon Harrington (D.Parry) and Adam Cain (CAINO - Music) have developed a passion for music production, with Adam releasing his latest EP ‘Next Up 128’ which hit Spotify and Apple Music early January, 2021.
Whilst music production and slamming out sets sit at the core of what the two do, they are no strangers to the Melbourne events program and are two of the minds behind the Melbourne based event brand’s Don't Think and Off Market Music.
Coming up on March 27th the boys will be Co-Running and performing at the largely hyped Beat Repeat Street Rave inspired by Melbourne's 90's rave scene and will feature the best of House, Acid House and Techno.
Keep your eyes out for the names CAINO and D.Parry as they have plenty in store for the future of Melbourne's electronic music scene!

As we move away from a year which has changed us all I have decided to move to a more mature title and leave DJ Ryon behind with 2020.

2021 has been flagged for some big things as i look to progress myself as an artist in this space.

In this session the collective are raising funds for the legends at AIME Mentoring a team doing amazing work providing educational opportunities to underprivileged and aboriginal youth.

Sometimes we take education for granted, it allows us to create more in-depth and informed opinions which in turn gives our youth the tools to challenge both themselves and others all the while providing them with skills they can refer back to when life throws up its challenges.

Hey Fam,

Found this gem this evening and thought id share with the world whilst we are all at home.

My Cake set from 2018, very early days and only just starting off musically, i was very appreciative of Jake Waters & James Fava for giving me the opportunity to play a festival slot on new years day. The mixing and transitioning might be off at times but it's nice to look back and see improvement over the years.
