Today is World Oceans Day. Ocean is the cradle of Life. Jacques Cousteau, precursor of Environmental issues and Ocean protection, said that "it doesn’t exists a terrestrial world vs an aquatic one, because ours is a Blue Planet".

World is a ship, my home a cabin.
Two years ago I crossed the Ocean going from Europe to Brazil. 33 days on a cargo ship, without being able to get off or go back. In the cabin or on the deck, deep in thoughts, with the the sea as the only border, at times the Freedom, at times a prison, with which, however, it was necessary to live and make peace. I thought I could never experience that feeling on the mainland, and the same stunned silence was not possible in inhabited places. In these days the whole world is a ship. Our houses are the cabins. The streets, the squares, the empty horizon. The continuous buzz of the news replaces that of the waves. This Journey will change all of us, but it will appear regular to walk again in the world, our natural element.
