Being the General Secretary of the Students’ Council of Manipal College of Dental Science, Mangalore was one of the best things that happened to me.

Obviously a leadership position in your college looks great on your CV, but the actual advantage is the life long bonds you create.

You contribute towards awards and accolades for your institutions, you work closely with teachers and students and you learn team work which is something that only experience can teach you.

It’s World No To***co Day and as a dentist I’m doing my bit to raise awareness today.
I drew this poster for a digital art competition on the topic “Sometimes quitters do win” hosted by Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore and District Health and Family Welfare Services, Mangalore.

To***co is not only deleterious to our health but also causes unwanted economic pressure. It is often known to be the causative or adjunctive agent for oral cancer as well as other pre cancerous conditions.

I stood first and won a cash prize for this poster in my UG final year. Hope this poster motivates you to quit, infact even if it invokes the thought of quitting, its a win-win situation.

Here’s to a better life and better health.

First anterior composite restoration✨

My Conservative dentistry posting happened to be around the time of the biggest cultural fest in our college, Utsav’22.

Being the general secretary of my college council, I had a lot on my plate but I still managed to give appointments and worked extra during my lunch breaks.

I was super exhausted that month, but the results were absolutely worth it✨

Genuinely, nothing better than fixing smiles.
