MONDAY MOTIVATION

Who doesn't need motivation?
No one!

However, I feel sometimes motivation is toxic.
At some point, the rational "balanced" decision to make is to quit.

Sometimes our goals and aspiration can be high up there like the sun and all we have to reach there is to jump.

No matter how much you jump, you won't touch the sun. So why jump?

Quit the "crap" of staying motivated and channel that energy to something more realistic and achievable.

Make your day count.
Shalom.

Virgil once said: "Maybe one day we shall be glad to remember even these hardships."

If you're going through hard times always remember not all hard times create sad memories. One way to make sure of that is to watch your attitude during trying times.
Learn the act of being aggressively grateful even in difficult moments and you'll realize how far you've gone winning your battle.

Oh don't forget to wear that smile πŸ™‚.
Greetings from SPAR!

A MUST READ IF YOU OWN A BUSINESS OR YOU'RE PLANNING TO OWN ONE

If your business is a small and medium enterprise, obviously making profit is one of your main goal. To make enough profit will depend solely on sales. Without sales there is no money and without money, running your business becomes very difficult if not impossible. Thus, sales is the life blood of any business.

Sales in this context is beyond exchanging a product or service for money but it connotes making your products or services available/known for prospect to want to patronise and more.

How can you sale your business (products and services) to potential clients you may ask?
The answer is through MARKETING!

Some people think marketing is advertising or branding or selling or some other vague concept. While all these are associated with marketing, they are not one and the same.

So what is marketing?
Here’s the simplest, most jargon-free, definition of marketing you’re ever likely to come across:
If a popular musician say 2face is coming to town and you paint a sign saying β€œ2face live in Uyo on Saturday,” that’s ADVERTISING.

If you put the sign on a truck and drive it into town, that’s PROMOTION.

If the truck almost hit a girl and the local radio/tv station talks about it in its morning show, that’s PUBLICITY.

And if you get the parent of the girl to laugh about it, that’s PUBLIC RELATIONS.

If the people of Uyo enquire of the show and you answer their questions and ultimately, they spend money to get tickets for the show, that’s SALES.

And if you planned the whole thing, that’s MARKETING.

Simply put marketing is the STRATEGY you use for getting your ideal target market to know you, like and trust you enough to become a customer.
Isn't marketing interesting and intriguing?
Sure it is!

Having said that, you're probably thinking of practical ways to utilize the power of marketing. If you're interested to learn more, why don't you keep a date with me tomorrow by 12pm as I'll share with you one powerful tool at your disposal that you can use to up your sales game.

In the main time, chat me up if you find this piece informative and educative and ask whatever questions you want answers to.

Not every information/knowledge when consumed and applied is wisdom. Even when majority hype or promote such views. Therefore, we need to be highly selective and to choose carefully what information we will read. To make good decisions, we need solid facts!

Don't be gullible!
Good morning and welcome to the bright side of life.

Ever wonder why the rich get richer and the poor poorer?πŸ€”πŸ€”
Answer: Akuniche!🀩🀩🀩

Akuniche is the Igbo word for wisdom. In Ibibio it is Oniong.
Wisdom is simply the application of knowledge. Everybody learn new stuff everyday. But pause for a moment and ask yourself what you spend your time learning.

Take a moment and view the accompanying picture. I'm certain you will know 1/2 of the faces. They are popular right?
Sure! But will they feed their family on mere fame? Of course not!😁😁😁

These folks have something in common and that is switching their brand to one that will pay them every week till forever for using their products. INTERESTING abi!?πŸ˜‹πŸ˜œπŸ€ͺ

My dear, it is not rocket science but simply the choice of seizing opportunity.

Guess what?🧐🧐🧐
You too can earn like them as I am too!πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€
If you wanna know then switch to LONGRICH.
If you're wondering how, just ask me how, via your comment or chat.

Investment means different things to different people. Well that is so because of the unique background people come from. Background in this context has nothing to do with race or culture; rather it has everything to do with school of thought, academics and profession.
However, irrespective of the background one comes from, the following are common attributes of investment: Time, Opportunity and Choice.
If you’re still wondering what this post is all about and how it relates to you, please exercise a little patience and read through, only then will you appreciate its relevance to you.

So, what is investment?
In economics, investment is addition to the capital stock, that is, that specific point or value added to already existing capital for further production. In summary, to economist, an investment is the purchase of goods that are not consumed today but are used in the future to create wealth.
In finance, an investment is a monetary asset purchased with the idea that the asset will provide income in the future or will later be sold at a higher price for a profit.
However you want to look at it, investment simply means the risk of putting one’s resources (money or assets) to work with the hope of raising future gain, revenue or increased income or value.
From the above definition, it is pertinent that for investment to take place, risk is inevitable. Thus, buying of bonds, starting a new business, lending money, real estate is example of investment.
So the big question is; are you investing?
If yes, what are you investing in?
If no, what is hindering you?

"School na scam" is a common notion among people who thought they will be taught how to be rich, how to build a happy family, how to be happy, etc in class.
However, all they learnt or will ever learn is knowledge.
Remember knowledge is said to be power. If you want to experience that power, you must be rational and ready to apply that knowledge - now that's is wisdom!

So what knowledge have you been acquiring?
Are you ready to learn things school will never teach you?
Are you ready to unlearn so as to learn and relearn new things?

It's your choice to make!!

Is it true opportunity knock but once?

Yesterday I made a post about a question:
"How prepared are you for opportunities?"

Opportunity they say "knock but once".
I totally agree to that school of thought to an extent.
Reasons being that all opportunities are not the same. Mr Opportunity is like color and it comes in different shades.
So why say it knock ones?
Our choices and decisions determines that. Depending on which variant of color Mr Opportunity comes visiting with, saying "NO!" to it could be the proverbial 'knock but once'.
However, there are times it keeps throwing itself at you, waiting patiently for you to say yes, like a loyal dog.
The big question is,
how will I know which variant it is coming with?

To answer that, you must answer my question of yesterday:
HOW PREPARED ARE YOU FOR OPPORTUNITIES?
