OVERCOMING SECRET SINS 1: THE DIAGNOSTIC PART (A)

Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. (James 5:16, AMP)

The Lord has as a matter of urgency drawn my attention to this verse of Scripture for both diagnostic & therapeutic purposes.

The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man or woman is both able to do much because it generates a lot of power. How? When they first rid themselves of the direct or tangential influences of sin by opening up to fellow believers.

Sin of course prospers in secrecy while it dissipates the believer’s powers and power potentials. When exposed through interpersonal confession, sin desiccates and becomes powerless like resin in the sun.

The Bible proclaims emphatically,

“He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” (Proverbs 28:13, NKV)

Note that the confession type that James talks about here is not the type you do to God, it is the type you do to fellow believers with whom you have interpersonal relationship. The reason being that there are life supplies that the Lord has put in His body that can only be accessed through the effective practice of church life. When confession is made and prayer is made, healings and restorations are enjoyed.

What are the types of sins that should be confessed to fellow believers (especially those with high stature and ranking with the Lord)?

They are what the writer of Hebrews calls ‘the sin which so easily ensnares us,’ (Hebrews 12:1, NKJV).

They are sins built around natural desires and lusts - with enough capacity to bind their practitioners in secrets habits.
They are sins with enough oomph to decimate will power and enslave the believer on the ground even though they are seated with Christ in heavenly places.
This is why some believers today, though tongue-blasting, agonise in many secret sins.

We (believers) don't live by emotions nor feelings nor appetite but by every word that proceed from the mouth of Lord.

Show me a man dead to his appetite, such is a man that can wield the Power of God.

We have to learn to protect our spirit from sin in order to grow and develop into the person God intends for us to be. God has a good plan for us, but if your spirit never develops, this plan will never come to fruition.

Prayer is not only about petition or warfare, it's about intimacy and edification.

Your blessings are spiritual. If you are not strong spiritually how can you catch them?

What has God called you to do? If you are in the Family of God, then you have a ministry call. It may not be to the Five-fold ministry, but you still have a ministry. No matter where you are, there are people in great darkness.

The proof that you know God is not by the number of books you have read, but by the amount of love you show to humanity.

God’s timing is perfect. He is never late! He uses the difficult period of waiting to stretch our faith and to let patience work. (James 1:4).

Success can be summed up simply as “how closely we follow the Holy Spirit

If you want to know God, it means you are ready to Love your enemy, it means you are ready to live a selfless life, it means you are ready to stop committing sin. If you are not ready for this, "you can't know who God is."

Inconsistency is one major tool the devil is using to stop our growth in Christ. Today you are hot tomorrow you are cold and next tomorrow you are hot again. We must bind the spirit of inconsistency and complacency fervently!!

We must be speakers, but not with English. Your English is poor in the realms. Anytime you want to pray in English/in your language just use it to appease your soul, to communicate to your soul what you're saying. Look into your spirit, there is going to be a sound, a language in your belly, pick it up and break into the realms, ascend and fulfill the preordinations of God for man before creation - Bondservant of Christ John Anosike

HOW TO ACCESS SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE

The first way to get access to knowledge is by asking or by prayerfully study, this Kind of knowledge you are trying to get access to are furnished by the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so you cannot break upon this knowledge just because you read a book, but because, while you were reading, a spirit invaded you, and open up your understanding. You need to study prayerfully to access spiritual knowledge, so it is either you ask or you prayerfully study inorder to get access to it.

The second way to get access to Spiritual knowledge is by service and Stewardship.

Alot of people thinks that they will be blessed just by coming to Church, sits down and listen, that's the lowest level blessing in the house of God. If you really want to be blessed in the house of God, look for something to do. There is nobody that was superlatively blessed by God that didn't commit his hands to it, and mysteries, secrets and knowledge are committed to those who are actively involved in engaging in the things of the spirit.

One of ways God blesses a servant, is by giving him knowledge that makes him to become a Commander in his life.

You cannot grow in the things of God if you are not a co-labourer with God, because there are levels of knowledge you get when you are on duty , so it is deception for people to only sit in the of church, and not be engaged.

The third way to access knowledge is by fear and reverence for God. The fear of the Lord is beginning of wisdom according to proverb 9:10.

The reason we must pray in order for God to
intervene is because He has given us, the Church, the authority in the earth.

God needs human beings in the same way the devil does—to accomplish tasks in the physical world. He needs us to pray and unleash the warring angels to minister upon the earth. Can He depend on you? Will you now become a prayer warrior and resist the Dark Kingdom?

When you pray, you are able to tap the resources of the infinite power of God. Let us suppose you are praying and believing God to save your husband/wife or child. How much time are you spending in prayer, spiritual warfare, to bring this to pass?

God is on the Throne watching and He is looking for your faith which, as we have seen, must be in line with your actions. How can God see any faith present in this prayer request if you spend two minutes praying for Him to save your husband/wife and five hours watching television every day?

If you are serious about wanting to see your husband/wife saved, then enter into combat prayer with intensity and you will spend several hours a day praying effectively. Once you learn this truth, it will not be long before the answer comes.

An increase in the Spirit decreases your carnality.

Even when things are not moving because you didn't compromise, don't worry breakthrough is on the way. Every rejection because of godliness is a promotion in the spirit realm.

Make a Quality Decision today that you are going to trust the integrity of God’s Word and believe it with your heart. Then, search for scriptures that deal with the problem or situation wherein you need victory over the Powers of Darkness—the main area where they are attacking your life.

Begin to confess what God’s Word says about the situation and not what these circumstances of life are dictating to you. If you will do this, then God will begin to move in your life. He honors His Word and He will begin to intervene on your behalf, but you must begin to exercise your faith and disregard what feelings and circumstances are telling your carnal mind. Learn to listen to your spirit—walk in the spirit and see things from a spiritual perspective.

It takes character and self-control to be understanding
and forgiving

Have a spiritual plan for your life and family take out your Bible and lay out a spiritual plan for your entire family to keep you strong and free in the Lord and then stick to this plan

When you find where God has called you to be, stay there.
Don't do everything every other person does.
Stay where you are.
Find satisfaction in doing you.
It may not be popular or liked, but stay there.
There is a need for who you are.

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those thingswhich are above, where Christ sitteth on the righthand of God. Set your affection on things above, noton things on the earth.” Colossians 3:1-2
