Tour d'Milt

It's been a whole month since the cyclists crossed the finish line in Italy 🇮🇹🏁

And the fund has just passed a whopping £15,000 ! 💰

Thank you to everyone who donated, supported, spread the word, and cheered them on 🧡

Day 31 complete!! ✅

The boys have done it, 1618.2 miles down the line and they’ve made it Buzzo! 🥳

They started their final cycle from Parma and headed to Borgo Val di Taro for a quick pit stop where they were joined by more family and friends before heading up to Buzzo to complete the trip! 🚴

Thank you to everyone who made the trip out to support and celebrate this achievement and most importantly to celebrate Pete, as well as all of those who have generously donated to the cause! 👏💚🤍❤️
The boys finished the trip with an amazing £13,602 raised for Blood Cancer UK! 🥳

Day 30 complete!!✅

Setting off from San Benedetto Po, the boys cycled another 65km to Parma🚴🏼‍♂️

They were joined by family and friends to cheer them on arriving in the lovely city, and later enjoying a delicious and well deserved meal 😋

One day down and nothing can stop them now!!🇮🇹

Day 31 complete!! ✅

The boys set off from Este heading towards their next stop San Benedetto Po!

During this cycle the boys completed 1500 miles of their total cycle, with some well deserved breaks in between! 🥳🚴

Upon reaching their destination the boys were surprised by Paul and Simon who celebrated the achievements this far!

Two more days of cycling left, Borgo awaits, the final leg is underway!! 🇮🇹🥳

Day 30 complete!! ✅

The boys started in Venice, heading to the wee town of Este, completing another 75km of the total!

As the support team has increased, Karren and Mike joined the boys for snacks along the way, always making sure they have plenty of cake 😋

The team were also excited to welcome the arrival of Lesley and Cole over the weekend❤️

Not long left boys… we’re so proud already

Day 29 complete!! ✅

On arriving in Lazise there’s was only 3 of them, on leaving it became 4, as the boys were joined again by Jamie!!

They left Lazise facing their biggest cycle yet, of 178km,111 miles!!
Where they later landed in Venice after an extremely long day of hard work, and a few cake and coffee stops! 🍰 ☕️

The boys now look forward to a rest day exploring Venice before hitting the cycle paths again for their last few days on the bikes!🚴

Come on boys, you’re nearly there!!!

Day 28 complete!! ✅

The boys started in Trento, heading south to the gorgeous town of Lazise on Lake Garda, completing another 86km of their total!🚴🏼‍♂️

Upon arriving the support team grew, with the addition of three new members, Karren, Mike and Josie🥳

The boys looked forward to their rest day the following day, ready to recharge for their biggest cycle yet…

Venice awaits 🇮🇹

Day 27 complete!! ✅

The boys left from Lana travelling to Trento on a 78km ride! 🚴🏼‍♂️ Setting up camp in a car park, but a car park with a view! 🏔

Later the group headed into the lovely square in the centre, enjoying their first Italian meal, and delicious ice cream🍦

Another day of cycling, out of the mountains and further into Italy they go!!

Day 26 complete!! ✅

The boys have done it!!!
Scotland to Italy in one month exactly! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇮🇹

They started this significant cycle from Kajetansbrücke completing an astonishing 116km!!
Where they later landed in Lana, Italy! 🇮🇹

On arriving they enjoyed a dip pool to cool down after cycling in the hottest temperatures yet, of 39 degrees! 🥵
Which was followed by the worst storm they’ve experienced ⛈

We are all so proud of you boys, the final leg is on the horizon!

Keep pushing on!

Day 25 complete!! ✅

The boys left from Imst and cycled 70km to Kajetansbrücke, travelling through the valley once again amongst the hills 🏔

They were greeted at the campsite by the support team, where they enjoyed cold beers, pizza, and a swim in the lake 🍕🍻

One last day of hills before the boys are through the alps…

One last cycle through Austria before they hit Italy 🇮🇹

Day 24 complete!! ✅

Setting off from Reutte and heading towards Imst, completing a 40km cycle up and over the Alps for the third day in a row! ⛰

During this journey the boys cycled under the highline bridge, which was later walked across by the support team 🌁

The boys now look forward to two rest days in Imst, ready to recharge and hit some more hills!!

Day 23 complete!! ✅

The boys left from Blaichach heading to Reutte, back into Austria, climbing over the Alps for a second day 🚴🏼‍♂️

During their cycle, taking moments to take in the amazing views that surrounded them, before setting up camp amongst the mountains 🏔

Despite the glorious weather over the last few days, a storm hit overnight, lighting up the sky with amazing bolts of lighting ⚡️

Another day to hit the hills, keep going boys, where’s there’s abs increase there’s a decrease!

We’d like to dedicate this post to the amazing, heroic, superstar that is the 5th member of the support team, John

Since leaving Cupar his support, hard work, effort and endless composure has truly humbled the boys on their cycle. Never backing out of anything and always offering to help. He kept the boys fed, clean and most importantly happy!

His company throughout the 3 weeks he spent on the trip, played a huge part for Louise and the girls in also supporting them as the support team, ensuring his expertise were never wasted!

From putting up tents, washing clothes, rescuing flat tyres, making salads and most importantly never turning down a cold beer, John has been a joy and great fun to be around, the group are so sorry to see him leave but have loved every second with him. His presence will be missed greatly until he joins us again in Italy

Oh and of course not to mention his undoubted determination and composure while driving the second support vehicle

Love you lots and miss you more John, Thank you ❤️

The boys set off from Bregenz on a 58km cycle to Blaichach, with the first day of hills complete, as they go deeper into the Alps! ⛰

During this cycle the boys officially completed 1000 miles of the trip!!

Arriving at the campsite, before enjoying tea out with beers and the mountains surrounding them🍻 ⛰

Day 21 complete!! ✅

The boys left from Mammern arriving at Bregenz, riding just under 90km 🚴🏼‍♂️

They were joined by good friends along the way to finish the ride, arriving at the campsite and enjoying a lovely evening together, full of games and beers! 🍻
