- Walking away, nearly unscathed, from a near death experience last November when my car hydroplaned and rolled 3 times.
- Another crazy beautiful year with my husband.
- Rebranding & really investing more time and energy into my business.
- Buying my dream car and using it to bless others.
- Surviving Snowpocalypse with our best friends.
- Going to Salt Lake to see & getting matching tattoos.
- Modeling for and gaining two amazing friendships in and 💕
- Helping our besties open their amazing food truck !
- Going to South Padre with some dear friends!
- Buying our first home (we move in this weekend!)
- Seeing .hannawalker again in Cincy!
- Living with & during one of the most difficult seasons we’ve ever had. You both are such a blessing and gift to us.

I love you all so much! Thanks for being here! I’m so looking forward to what the next few months will bring as we enter another new season of moving into our first home, living with my mom, and pursuing our passions ♥️

If you watch my stories, then you may be up to date, but if not I’ll just start by saying May has been a rollercoaster.

Many of you know that my mom has many health issues. Some of you know that she has lived with Jonny and me twice since we’ve been married.

Her health has been declining for a while now. Mostly because she does not have the community where she lives that will support a life of growth and freedom from addiction like she needs. Everything culminated on May 2nd when my mom fell multiple times in her apartment, leading us to the ER to find out she had a UTI which can cause confusion and weakness. She recovered, but was still physically very weak.

Last Thursday I got a call from one of her home health nurses saying I needed to get in touch with her ASAP because she didn’t sound good. When I did finally reach her, she was so confused that she couldn’t remember how to call 911. We got her to a hospital where (thank God) some action was finally taken to help her long term. She was admitted for a week and all her tests came back normal which is leading her doctors to think this could be early signs of dementia. Today she got transferred to a skilled nursing facility where they will continue to work on physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

I say all of that to say, my mom will be moving back in with us very soon. We are in the process of *aggressively* looking for houses so that she can come live with us and not have to go back to low income housing where the drinking & smoking will inevitably start again and deter her journey to improvement. So we’ve been busy, and prayerful, and confused, and grateful, and nervous all at the same time. God has provided financially for us to be able to do this again. He has given us unity in our marriage and specifically given me a heart of deep compassion and care for my mom. I just want to take care of her. I’m so grateful to feel that way, because we’ve had some rough seasons together. So that’s why I haven’t been posting much. Will keep giving updates in stories and just wanted to say I love y’all. 💗

✨Austin Skyline✨ it’s changed quite a bit since I was a little girl. As one of the few born and raised Austinites, I can say I love seeing our city flourish, in the same breath it’s been hard to keep up with the growth and changes. It was only a matter of time for the world to realize what a gem we have. Over the pandemic, and the recent snow storm, I have only grown to love it more - the community is beautiful here ♥️ wish us luck as we begin our search as first time home buyers! It’s a scary time to start this process but we have the absolute best realtor on our side and trust that God has a plan for us!

Walking into this week with a hopeful heart ♥️ A lot happened this past weekend! I got a new tattoo (saved in a story highlight) and then spent almost all day Sunday in the ER with my mom after she fell and hit her head. Turns out she has a UTI that is causing her to feel even more weak and confused than she normally is. She is doing better and just taking it slow. Thankfully her fall was minor and she had no major injuries. All in all I’m feeling grateful for the medical staff at the hospital, my husband who is the best teammate, and the time and space needed to take care of my mom. Also feeling very loved by all of you 🤍 can’t thank you enough for loving me and following along with my real life over here. Hope your week is really really good ✨anything you’re looking forward to this month?

Something for you to noodle on this week - What is authenticity to you & how do you feel when you encounter it?

I encountered authenticity this weekend in so many ways and for the first time in a long time I am feeling renewed and hopeful. I was authentic in the decisions I made, I was around others who were authentic in the way they interacted with me, and Jonny & I encountered authenticity in spontaneous moments of fun and in honest moments we shared. I want to journal about this topic more this week so I don't forget, because authenticity is so valuable and so underrated. I think we could all use a little more of it in our lives. ✨ (would love to hear your thoughts on this more in the comments).
