Job Summary:

Warehouse and Production Leader responsible for meeting goals by working hands-on and leading by example, training, managing, and coordinating warehouse and production associates, and directing drivers. This person must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and logistics skills. Job duties include developing and implementing strategies to ensure the most effective warehouse and production operations and efficient delivery schedules.

Must be able to multi-task, effectively prioritize tasks, damage control/loss prevention, stress control, and maintain clear-headed vision.

Core Responsibilities:

Ability to perform and oversee the following tasks:

Work with departments to maintain the highest quality and achieve the best productivity
Increase process efficiencies by research and development of various food processing techniques
Ensure efficient contract buying for raw materials
Develop new product lines
Ensure strict sanitation, GMP, HACCAP, and Food Safety Rules
Manage production schedules in the plant
Manage associates, conduct performance reviews
Pick and complete orders for delivery and/or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
Generate efficient driver routes
Manage accurate inventory
Implement practices for efficient use of warehouse space
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
Lead the team effort to streamline operations and effectively perform logistics tasks
Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects(50lb) and work quickly
Ability to work in subzero freezer 2-3 hours a day.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task
Experience and willingness to work in a small company/Higher than average stress environment
Computer skills (Microsoft Office) and QuickBooks
Ability and experience in driving 24’+ box truck
