FOOD TAX HOLIDAY! Today is the first day of the month long sales tax holiday on food and food ingredients! Remember- this does not include alcohol, candy, dietary supplements or prepared food. Take advantage while you can!

Its the time of year again!!! The "Stuffed With Love" Donation Drive is back 🙂

My cousin Kynslie and I hosted our first "Stuffed With Love" drive in 2019. We were unable to host the drive last year due to Covid, so lets make 2021 double big! In 2019 we were able to donate close to 25 stuffed stockings and other items- Can we make it to 50???

What is "Stuffed With Love"?, Well...You choose whether your stocking is for a girl, boy, or gender neutral, and fill it with any non perishable items you wish. This can be toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brushes, toys, small blankets,etc. If it will fit- stuff it in there! All items will be taken to Local DCS offices to be distributed to children in Foster care during the holidays.

If you are unable to stuff a stocking yourself and just wish to purchase items, you can shop the Amazon Wish List below. Stuffed stockings or items can also be dropped of to Kellie Overstreet, or Lyndsey Nicole Rowlands, simply pm for arrangements. Donations accepted through December 15th!- ❤ Stokes

It’s Fertilize season!

Fertilizers have been used since the start of agriculture. Farmers use fertilizer to help add nutrients to their soils. Nutrients can be added from a variety of sources—organic matter, chemical fertilizers, and even by some plants. This maintains the soil fertility, so the farmer can continue to grow nutritious healthy crops.

My papaw knows all about fertilizer! He is the one you call when you need it spread on your fields! He stopped by today to show me how it works and even let me sit in his seat!

Tonight I helped my papaw plant a garden. We planted peppers and tomatoes. I can’t wait to watch them grow and then produce food for us to eat! 🍅🫑🌶

They can teach us so much, all we have to do is watch and learn!
