Yesterday recorded a mix mostly of tunes I’d collected during Melbourne lockdown. It ended up being a bit of a mix of genres - some deep house / electronica / weird vibes at the start before some good times of funk / upbeat / world house tunes. Oh, and a couple of Dan Andrews quotes.

I've been avoiding finishing a song properly - I'm enjoying the creating stage too much and the idea of sitting down and finishing something is daunting.
A few weeks ago I made this track called "Madonna" - directly inspired by DJ Boring's "Winona" - this track uses a clip of a Madonna interview I got from Andreea and it ended up evolving into some lo-fi funk house tune.
Maybe I'll revisit this song in the future - but for now you can listen to this recording I did using Ableton's session mode.

Working on breaking out of the loop phase and performing a song live from start to finish. Working title for this one is "Drive" because it's got a bit of vibe from the movie soundtrack of the same name.
First time getting my synths to play together.

Yesterday finished my 100 Days Of Making Music challenge.
This project was a lot of fun but probably peaked around day 70 - ironically as soon as lockdown started I struggled to stay motivated. Thanks to everyone who gave me feedback - posting play throughs to Instagram a lot really helped me practice "performing live" which is another goal later down the track.
Shout out to everyone who joined me on some days - it sucks that there's a few others I wanted to collab with but we couldn't do it due to COVID-19.
Hope everyone is safe and having fun in isolation. Now to watch Tiger King.
