Mackenzie for Vice President
Come follow along on my adventure to obtain 2021-2022 Provincial Vice President!
Words from Allied Youth Alumni, Lesley Burgess herself!
"Mackenzie is an enthusiastic team player and has a track record of getting things done. In her involvement in Allied Youth and beyond, she is a passionate and vocal advocate on issues facing youth. In her role as Provincial President over the last year she has dedicated herself tirelessly to Allied Youth and worked hard to plan events and engage members in new ways due to Covid-19. As her sister, I know her empathy and desire to help others make her a star candidate for Provincial Vice President. As a former member of Allied Youth, I know her leadership skills and eagerness to support her peers have helped the organization thrive, and will continue to do so if she is elected. Vote Kenzie!"
Thank you Lesley!

Words from Lesley Burgess herself!
I was involved with Allied Youth at the post level from 2012-2015.
My sister Mackenzie joined in 2016 when she was in the 7th grade. Since then she has been an enthusiastic and motivated AY member, and has shown dedication to the program and its members both at the Post and Provincial Executive levels. She is committed to educating herself and others about issues facing youth today, and is especially passionate about mental wellness and peer-based mental health support, 2SLGBTQ+ rights, and international human rights.
Her involvement with Allied Youth has helped her grow into a compassionate and outspoken advocate for youth issues, and I believe she will continue to do excellent work if elected as your 2020-2021 Provincial President.
Thank you so much Lesley!
Mackenzie loves to do volunteer work! She has volunteered with many programs such as the Amnesty international "write for rights"program, the red shoe walk for the Ronald McDonald House, TD tree days, food banks and much more!
Words from former Provincial Youth Director, Macy Thorne herself! Thank you so much Macy!
"Hey AYer’s! If you don’t know me already, my name is Macy Thorne and I served as a Provincial Youth Director from 2017-2018. I would just like to say that you should vote for Mackenzie Burgess for the 2020-2021 Provincial President! I’ve known Mackenzie since before she even joined AY because of her lovely older sister Lesley. Because of this, Mackenzie has always had a passion for AY even before she was able to join. Mackenzie has served as Junior Representative for the Crescent post and has plenty of experience on the Provincial executive being a Youth Director last year and Vice President this year. I know that if you vote Mackenzie as President, she will dedicate herself to the position and try her best to make sure that everyone has an amazing time in AY. I hope that you all continue to connect throughout the summer even with social distancing regulations and once again, vote Mackenzie for Provincial President!"
Mackenzie loves to keep busy! She also loves to plant and grow vegetables and other kinds of plants! Yesterday she turned an old shelf that wasn't getting any use into a working, functional vegetable bed!
Mackenzie has held positions on both post and provincial executive! She is very organized, experienced and loves to make others happy!
When it comes time to vote I encourage you to
