It's been a while, but we have lots of fun updates to share throughout Chicagoland!
First - Aurora Interest Meeting!
Aurora churches and Young Life Capernaum are partnering together to launch Young Life Capernaum in Aurora and we need your help!
As we work to launch, we are interested in talking to students, parents of students, school staff and teachers, professionals in the field, churches, and anyone who might want to learn more.
Join us on Thursday, January 12 at 6:30pm at First Presbyterian Church of Aurora! Help us get the word out!

Join us as we learn the Christmas story with people all over the world!

At the end of Day Camp last week we all wrote encouraging notes for people living in retirement and assisted living communities. It was a joy to drop them off yesterday!

New ministry coming in Chicago!
Capernaum is starting in the city! Capernaum is creating spaces of belonging for teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are recruiting a team of volunteers to serve! Reach out if you're interested in learning more/getting involved.

What a great kickoff for Chicagoland Capernaum Day Camp today with students and leaders from Lake County, Kane County, Metro Southwest, Riverside-Brookfield, Naperville and more! Started the day off with field games including human bowling, jousting with pool noodles and egg races. Then Club and free time with an inflatable obstacle course ended the camp day. We are excited for what’s still to come!
