With inflation at almost zero and pensions rising by 2- 3% a year up to 2016 there was some hope of dignity in old age in a few years time - maybe enough to retire to a earner country with citizenship.

If you want to understand the plight of people under successive UK governments except the LibDem contribution to the Coalition that pushed for the change above, ask someone loving on state pension how they can afford to live.

We're easy to find because we can't. We are working til we drop.

Then this government is making sure you earn too little to build services we can have free, taking UK profit to billionaires who sack well paid workers and recruit you more cheaply whilst the profit is in tax havens and a major disruptive event every decade or so drops hundreds of thousands of homes into bank laps to rent.

We desperately need a fairer society. If you voted to leave the EU and for this government for a better life, make your government Rejoin the EU and watch their shenanigans more closely with us.
