Eleven NCR Barangays are Declared National passers of the SGLGB

Congratulations to Barangays New Zañiga (Mandaluyong), Santo Niño (Marikina), Dela Paz (Pasig), Santa Lucia (San Juan), Batasan Hills (Quezon City), Barangay 28 (Caloocan), Lawang Bato (Valenzuela), Talon Kuatro (Las Piñas), San Isidro (Makati), Sucat (Muntinlupa), and San Isidro (Parañaque) for being awarded as the National Passers of the 2021 Pilot Testing of the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangay (SGLGB).

Similar to the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) program, the SGLGB is a recognition-based program that specifically monitors and awards the progress, leadership and improvement of the barangays in various areas, so as to continue becoming examples in their areas of jurisdiction as they champion good governance and embody the "Matino, Mahusay at Maaasahan" motto of the Department.

Out of the 1,344 barangays nationwide that took part in the pilot testing and assessment, the aforementioned eleven (11) barangays from the National Capital Region received this distinct honor in recognition of their exemplary performance in the covered period.
