Sacred Shrine of the 8 Pirates by D'Xiphering Kpop

I have been looking forward to this debut for a while and now that is here, let me talk about it. [don't expect an indept review as I will not go over every single detail, adulting takes too much time out of my day]

First, the song is good, not as catchy as it should be but good regardless. The chorus however, weak as hell.

One thing I appreciate of the MV is that unlike IVE's Eleven, you can see that whomever edit this understood the assignment. The transitions are well merged and the flow of the vid does not get interrupted by that extra second of stillness IVE's video has.

I am not a fan of the recent ultra HD, speeded up videos, and SM seems to be trying to make that a staple of it. Not saying there is anything bad with it, I just personally do not like the aesthetic.

Regarding the performance, yes, the girls have a long way to go and need to improve but their lip sync game is way better than recent debuted groups.

In conclusion, has a good start, lets see if they can keep it up.

I am an Atiny, I love and obsess with my boys as they came in a time of my life I was burnt out at both ends. They gave me the escape I needed to focus on something else but my crippling estate of perpetual anxiety.
