Even in the extreme temperature conditions experienced in July and August, Darlingtonia do fine as long as the roots are kept cool and never allowed to dry out

Throwback photo! Some Darlingtonia toughing it out on a wall of serpentine rock. Just add water (preferably chilled and running of course), and these guys can grow practically anywhere.
