It is with mixed emotions that we announce our beloved team member, Tina, will be moving to Arizona to be closer to her family. Her last day with us at SILO will be July 13th.

For the past two years, Tina has been an invaluable asset to our barber team. Her skill, dedication, and vibrant personality have made a lasting impact on both our team and our clients.

While we are sad to see her go, we are excited for her new adventure and wish her all the best in Arizona. As you get your last cut with Tina, please join us in giving her a warm send-off and celebrating the amazing contributions she has made during her time with us.

Where do I start? I think it’s best to remember the beginning.
It started as a small dream, thinking starting a small barbershop in my house will never come full fruition in a small town, Ridgefield. Those early days hold a special place in my heart - raising 2 boys and pregnant with our 3rd and running a business in a mother-in-law unit at times trying to keep it quiet with boys you can only imagine. Since then, l’ve learned so much. The sacrificial moments, though private and understood by only a few, have been at times difficult.

Yet, I’ve also experienced countless moments of sheer joy and love. The generosity l’ve witnessed in every form from our babbera down to our customers- time, resources, comfort, and compassion - has been overwhelming. The way everyone readily shares a smile and the sense of family you feel when you come into SILO that envelops you as soon as you walk in. But make no mistake, we work hard here.

My heart is full of gratitude for everyone who has walked through the door at SILO. Thank you for being there when it was just me. SILO truly is my home away from home and I can’t wait to see where 2024 takes us
