👑 We are hosting a design competition in collaboration with

✍ Your task is to design a SurreyWES sweater. You can either design by hand or digitally using this link: https://rapanuiclothing.com/design-your-own-tee/

⏳ The Deadline for the design submission is Monday 9th May at 4:01pm. Please email either a scan of your handmade design or a screenshot of your digital design to us, or the SurreyWES email address [email protected]

🏅 The winner will receive a free sweatshirt featuring their own design along with some new art supplies!

🤝 About the supplier. WES have carefully selected , a company based on the Isle of Wight that aims to combat the fast fashion industry by developing technologies to turn the linear fast fashion economy into a circular economy. You can even send back old Rapanui garments for them to use as material for new items! SurreyWES try to do things well and make positive change wherever they can; it seems Rapanui has the same attitude.

Our artsoc committee wants to remind you all that our DMs are always open if you ever want a chat, whether it’s early morning motivation or a late night vent, we are here for you 💛

The pandemic has made this a tough start to the academic year, which is why we need to reach out and support each other now more than ever 💛

We are all here for you, and supporting through the campaign ⭐️

08/10/20 Week 2! Our first anatomy session, come and try out some of the basics skills for sketching the body. We hope you enjoy tommorow and we can do more anatomy sessions, gradually building our skills together :D

Important: Session will now be at 6.30! remember to sign up using our form posted 24hours before the session, so today at 6.30 it will be released. link will be in our bio, sent to emailing list, whatsapp, discord etc. If your having issues dm us.

COVID: masks on 😷 we will let you in one by one after you scan the NHS Track and Trace QR. If you are coming with friends, put the names of your bubble (6 person limit) in the form so we can arrange the tables for you. We will also provide wipes for each person to santise the materials after use. If you have any concerns or ideas for our sessions to be more covid safe let us know!

Here's all the information for today's event! A basic run down is that it will be a fun chilled intro for getting back into art after this very long summer. We have a loose fun structure, but as always you're free to do whatever art you like. We can't wait to meet you all :D
