As long as you are the carrier of God's glory, as long as your testimony causes many to believe in God you are a threat to the devil and he wants to put you out but continue testifying as you can only overcome by the blood of the lamb and by the word of your testimony

Solitary Prayers boost Church Growth

Mark 1:35 — 37
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!”

Solitary prayers are powerful and make a difference. It's worth noting that Jesus was praying somewhere alone and that prayer caused "everyone" to look for him.

It is the solitary prayers you make that will attract someone to Church, never get tired of interceding for that friend and relative, Heaven is listening. One good day, after sometime of tireless Prayers God answered Cornelius and his whole household was saved.

Solitary Prayers also deepen your relationship with God. It's true that whom you spend most of the time with you get to know better hence spend more time speaking to God (praying) and you'll surely get to know Him better.

Go where they are

While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him.

Jesus used many strategies to win souls and one of them was socializing with sinners in order to preach to them. Some people will never come to Church unless we go to where they are, braai with them in a social environment where they are relaxed and share Christ to them.

We all know what happened to Levi, he became one of Jesus disciples but that was after Jesus went to his home and ate dinner. You can use such a strategy as well, visiting unbelievers in their environment of comfort and share the good news.

This way the Church grows in a unique way. This is why it's vital to know a bit about everything. If you find unbelievers talking about soccer join in as well, if it's about cars show some knowledge as well, if it's about cooking & baking lawe tshengisa ulwazi sister so that they identify with you and listen to what you got to say, If you are all holy and all you can talk about is the third heavens and Cherubims you become too complicated to converse with. If Jesus did it, surely you can do it as well, afterall that's exactly where He wants you to go

Lack of vision; a hindrance to Church Growth

Mark 11: 15-17

On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves, and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts. And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’”

The Priests during Jesus' era had become so visionless that they turned the house of God into a merchandise unit yet the Church should be the house of prayer as Jesus stated. Once a Church is vigorous in merchandise other than salvation people become sceptical to join afraid they will be used as cash cows instead of kingdom pillars and soul winners.

The priest lacked vision to preach the word and embarked on some other business other than that which the temple was created for e.g. prayer, worship and preaching the Word. No wonder why they didn't recognise the incarnate Word in their midst because they had deviated to merchandising. None followed the scriptures to see if Jesus was indeed the Messiah that had come.

Where there is no vision people are cast off restraint, they perish. Where there is no vision anything goes, If you want to change money in the Church that's it, if you want to wear mini-skirts in the Church nobody will stop you, you can play Church and since everyone is busy with their agenda you get away with it but if everyone is following a vision they make it their mandate to help direct and correct whoever they think is going astray and that way the Church maintains its image and realizes positive growth.

Isaiah 28:7
But they also have erred through wine,
And through intoxicating drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through intoxicating drink, they are swallowed up by wine, they are out of the way through intoxicating drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

Such was the predicament during Isaiah's time, priests and prophets were given to intoxicating substances instead of the Word hence they stumbled in judgement because they erred in vision.

The Church should champion it's objectives and and win souls for Christ; any compromise to accommodate immorality will only groom doom at the end of day, The church will be full but with blemished people yet Jesus is coming for a spotless bride, it will rather be full of people willing to change that way the Lord becomes their strength in weakness and they make it to heaven.

GO TO THE OTHER SIDE

Mark 4:35
That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.”

Many churches don't grow because saints are afraid to go over to the other side yet the command in Matthew 28:19 is clear
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations..."

When the bible says go just know it's safe to go, don't wait for another confirmation from the 3rd heavens, Him who dwells there said it already over 2 000yrs ago so "Go".

Don't be afraid to tread where no foot has treaded, Go and be the first, Apostle Paul says don't glory in building over someone's foundation, be a pioneer and start something new. Many are not interested to go in remote areas where the residents are poor yet the command didn't say go where there is money, the command to go does not concern what people possess so just go over to the other side,

Many Prophets and great teachers of the word are lying in wait for someone to discover and nature their gift so Go. Jesus went over and met a demoniac that desperately needed deliverance but had he not gone there the man was going to die tormented and secondly; the road he had embargoed none could have ever set foot there yet it could have been a short cut to some route but many took the long path because none was willing to go over and deliver him. Please go to the other side!
