GOOD LUCK MARIETTA! We’d like to wish the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival a great weekend as the festival starts Friday and runs through Sunday. They have some of the best fireworks in the region on Saturday night! The Sternwheel boat races are at 1pm on Sunday afternoon. Marietta, Ohio is a wonderful place to visit…head up I-77 if you get a chance!

Back by popular demand! The Young Entrepreneurs Market will set up during Live on the Levee' s Back to School night this Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 930: p.m. . We hope to see you there!

As we celebrate , we can't help but think back to the thrilling Tudor's Biscuit World Hot Dog Eating Contest at this year's Sternwheel Regatta. Hopefully our contestants have recovered and folks are already prepping for next year's event.

We've only been gone for a day but we are already missing everyone. Make sure to keep an eye on our page as we share our favorite memories from the 2024 Sternwheel Regatta and make preparations for next year's event.

Breeze Airways Sternwheel Boat Races were awesome. Thank you to all the Sternwheelers who came out to the 2024 Sternwheel Regatta.

The event everyone has been waiting for and asking about is almost ready to get underway. The Breeze Airways Sternwheel Boat Races start at 1pm. Races start at the Capitol and end at the Southside Bridge. Great viewing for Haddad Riverfront Park where we've got a big screen and some play-by-play action. Get some food and drink from one of our vendors and enjoy the races.

Don't forget we had ti reschedule the Fire Parade to TODAY at 2:30. Truck will line up on Virginia St starting at Ohio Avenue and run down to Leon Sullivan. Lots of great areas to watch so bring the whole family

Good morning Charleston. We had a blast last night but we aren't finished yet. The TC Energy Carnival is getting setup, the WesBanco Family Fun Zone is getting ready, cars are rolling in for the Hot Diggity Dogs Car Show, the Sternwheelers are fueling up for the Breeze Airways Sternwheel Boat Race and our food vendors prepping for the today. Lots planned today so make plan to come down and help us close our the 2024 Sternwheel Regatta.

We can't ask for anything more Charleston. Completely at loss for words. Thank you all so much for coming out and support the Regatta and our amazing City. We have lots more planned for you tomorrow so rest up and we'll see you downtown tomorrow.

We blow it out tonight Charleston. Party on the Boulevard starting at 8pm.

You still have time to get down to Captiol Street to watch The Funeral Parade. It is a sight to see so head down and get a good spot. Parade starts on the corner of Lee Street and Captiol Street and will end on Summers Street right by Slack Plaza. Everything kicks off at 2pm

We are in full swing through Downtown Charleston today at the Sternwheel Regatta. While we have tons of events left today, we wanted to take time to thank our presenting sponsor, Encova Insurance. Folks, there is no way we could put on all of our free events and concerts with the support of all of our sponsors, especially Encova. They have been the Presenting Sponsor for the Regatta since it returned in 2022 and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their continued support, not only for the Regatta, but for all the amazing support they provide so many throughout our city, county and state. In about an hour, the United Way of Central WV is going to dump 10,000 rubber ducks off the South Side Bridge in the Kanawha River for the Rubber Duck Race
Good luck to everyone who adopted a duck and thank you for supporting an amazing organization that helps so many throughout our community.

Get ready for the most pawsome event ever: a dog costume contest followed by THE wiener dog race on Magic Island.

Watch as adorable pups show off their costumes before the dachshunds ketchup to the competition on the track! 🐾🌭🎭

Unbelievable!!! You did it once again Charleston. What an amazing three days we have had so far and the best is yet to come. Tomorrow is a day full of events and an amazing concert to end the evening. Rest up, hydrate and get ready for a massive party tomorrow.

This little bit of rain won't dampen our fun for the evening. Emily Ann Roberts, who is earmarked as a significant artist to watch in 2024 after her rise to stardom on Blake Shelton's team on The Voice, will take the Moses Auto Group Stage at 6:30pm.

Starting at 8:00pm, country superstar legend, Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry will take the Moses Auto Group Stage. He's a CMA, ACM and Grammy award winner with megahits such as "Hell Yeah," "My Town," "Lucky Man" and many many more.

This is a show you are not going to want to miss.

Congratulations to the winner of the event that "mustard" the most energy and excitement, the Tudor's Biscuit World Hotdog Eating Contest. Let us tell you, the fans were "frank-ly" serious about their favorite contestant. We had an amazing turnout of fans and the competition was fierce. This event has become a fan favorite of the Regatta and we heard folks were already training for next year.

The Charleston Sternwheel Regatta Fire Parade has been RESCHEDULED to Sunday, July 7, at 2:30 PM. The route will be the same, so bring the kids down to the WesBanco Family Fun Zone starting at noon and then walk over to Virginia Street and support our local fire departments. 🚒🧑‍🚒

The WesBanco Family Fun Zone is open the rest of the weekend. Make sure to bring the kids out to help paint the City's Office Of Public Art's new art project- Buckley The Fish
