Well, here we are. But where are we? I often tell my students that creativity arises from problem-solving, and I will be blunt: we have a somewhat large problem that goes beyond the challenge of a blank canvas. It will require large creativity, but together our ideas can be like spokes that hold up our umbrellas in the rain. The sky will clear at some point. But in the meantime, I will do my best to inspire you to also do your best. Please share your artwork and inspirations, and your aspirations (keep dreaming, keep breathing). I look forward to hearing from you. However, please keep the focus on our artwork and the values that connect our community. I encourage honesty, as always, but will delete this page if the conversation strays into hostile territory. In the meantime, know that I am with you in spirit through it all. Be expecting posts as soon as your admittedly Luddite teacher learns her tech. Be safe! Be strong!
