The House of Artificus, from our young people’s interactive fantasy-adventure project, A Moral Paradox. “It’s as if the surface of the lake is boiling, as a crazy building rises out of it. First comes the roof, with red, scale-shaped tiles in a wavy pattern. The walls of this bizarre structure are covered with multi coloured wallpapers: ripped and reattached. How they haven’t fallen apart in the water is a mystery. The water rushes off of the roof and down these walls in a jumble of half-pipes, some sloping straight down and some spiralling around the house.”
