All of them was such fun to paint. Using the glitter was even better! Christmas always brings a festive mood and it's my first time to actually paint specifically for Christmas! It brough me much joy!

Just sharing a snippet of my silk painting process. After I painted it with the silk dyes, I felt that gold needed to be added, so I did 😉

Getting ready for the December 2 "Santa in the Park" event and by popular demand bringing back these new hand painted coasters! This time the color is totally different (seabreeze blue) and I have added....Gold. yay! Love me some gold

The painting was on the subject of the Light of Christ in the darkness. I got the idea and the inspiration one morning as I was awakening. I simply saw this vision/dream and was amazed at how precise the picture was.
The understanding came quickly - we see the light much easier in the darkness and in the present darkness of this world we must share the Gospel of Jesus Christ even more urgently. Jesus is our Light and our Peace and we take comfort in that. 🫶🙏☝️

I will never forget the words of my art teacher at the art uni - sketch is the foundation of any art piece. Well, he was right. I don't always sketch, but when I do, it always helps. 😆
I am not all that familiar with the tallships and such, so sketching and studying this theme was a lot of fun and somewhat a challenge.

I painted a wild, unbridled horse as symbol of us humans, being beautiful, unique, but also wild and unbridled without Christ Jesus and His Kingship. When we subdue ourselves to Him as our Lord and Savior, we understand His immeasurable love and grace for us and when we invite Him and that love into our lives, we become different people, better people, in submission to the best King and the Creator of the Universe. We allow His love, His grace, His presence to be in us and shine through us. So what could be more beautiful? 🙏🐴
