Lynette M. Barr It is with great sorrow we announce that Lynette Marie Barr (nee Steele) of Elyria departed this life on January 24th, 2022 following a brief illness. Lynette was born December 7, 1959 in Medina, to Blake and Jeanette Steele.

We were at Cleveland this past weekend with our new Chakra Light Balance Therapy, a concept that has been floating around in my head for years (decades?) and finally brought to fruition last fall. This is the first Expo we have introduced it, and we had very positive response. Look for it to be out again in the future at other Expos, and of course locally at the Crystal Era in Elyria.

I finally got my slant cabber set up in the basement (my other machine is still out in the cold❄️, freezing⛄️ garage) , so I can do some of the things I enjoy doing. Pictured is the Purpurite previously posted, only we actually got some Sunshine! Also a Sugalite cab and a beautiful Gary Green (Larsonite) cab.

I picked up some Purpurite recently, and thought I would put a couple of pounds in the tumbler. But there was a piece that was almost cab shaped, and I finally got my flat cabber set up in the basement (it’s cold in the garage) and gave this piece a polish. Looks better in person, if we get ever get sunlight I may take another photo 🌞

This is one of this rare, cool, hard to find and hard to photograph the features clusters that not everyone appreciates.
It’s a Smokey Quartz cluster that is naturally etched in places, which you can best see in the upright crystal in the 3rd photo.
As I understand it, the Quartz grew, and sometime in its history, it had an overgrowth of calcite. The Quartz continued to grow, then later the calcite dissolved leaving the etchings. Then, Druzy Quartz formed over the cluster.
It measures about 5-1/4 x 2-1/2 x 2-1/2”.

Santa came today and in one of the boxes was this great 3+ pound piece of Sugalite. I’m thinking it’s going to end up getting slabbed into pieces I can then cab. It’s a beauty!!!

Anatase (a rare form of Titanium Dioxide) on Chlorite Quartz. This specimen contains three Anatase crystals, easiest to see in the 2nd (flash) pic. The specimen is approximately 6”, the largest Anatase Crystal being 14mm.

TiO2 also forms as Brookite, and Rutile (like Rutilated Quartz).
Chakra Light Balance Therapy
A couple weeks ago I posted the test (on the table) of these lights. I now have them mounted and running, and added a 10th light (the pink) which adds a lot to the ‘session’. This was the very first run...

Chakra lights
Just because I’m not selling rocks doesn’t mean I’m not doing anything. This is a test of my Chakra Lights, a 9 light programmed system that is designed to balance/open the chakras and get the energy flowing. Decided to go with a chair rather than a table, so as soon as everything is here I can get it assembled, wired and running!
FYI- it feels pretty good just sitting on the table like this 🙂
Stunning Prehnite plate from Baluchistan, Pakistan. This beauty has a great many intact crystals and Quartz inclusions, which can be seen in the closeups.
Of note, due to the virus situation, this took just shy of five months to reach me from the time it was first shipped 🙃. Very happy to see it!

Citrine Quartz with a bit of Amethyst from Zambia, weighs in at about 16.1 pounds (7.3kg). It is a real beauty! Now I just gotta figure out where I’m going to display it 😉.
