Day 2) Academic Policy transparency →My academic policy pillar adopts a know-your-rights approach, because students are most powerful when they know their academic rights. Transparency means being able to voice your concerns around privacy, unfair workloads, and confusing academic instruments, and having confidence that your concerns are being translated to the senate floor.

Hey Folks! As you know I'm running to be you Science Student Senator, so I thought I'd take the chance to introduce myself. My name is Samdarsh Saroya, and I'm a second year medical science student. I got involved in student advocacy efforts in my first year, and have been hooked ever since. The notion that our collective voices are powerful enough to mold our community in how we believe it should be stuck with me through my years at Western. As a Medical Science department representative, a Sci Faculty Soph, and a firm lover of Babaz Shawarma, I'm hoping to represent that students voice in the Senate for the coming year.
