What a rotten week weather wise. Come on Spring where are you??
We had a lovely evening this month with the tallented helping us create some Spring/Easter Wreaths. We were shown creative ways of use live plants and bulbs so we had wreaths that would last through the season.
As an added bonus we will have the opportunity to pop the plants in the garden after. No waste here at Headcorn Flower Club.
Thanks to Headcorn Village, Kent for popping along, lovely to see you.
And more of these beauties …….
Fabulous wreath making session with the amazing Sophie Leathart. Sophie’s guidance and generosity showed in our beautiful wreath creations. Check these beauties out!
We will be making Christmas wreaths with Sophie Leathart on Wednesday 7th December - guests welcome, pm for details
So the challenge was to create a hand-tied bouquet using a coloured aluminium frame as a base. This proved to be rather challenging but our ladies ROSE🌹to the occasion! There were some Fabulous creations using vibrant colours to support our ‘Fireworks’ theme. We had a little competiton, our ladies voted for their favourite bouquet and the winner was Christine - she used exotic blooms in deep reds and purples to reflect the smoky bonfire evenings, well done!
Tonight we will be creating a hand-tied bouquet, inspired by Ellouise Hasler-Stott. The theme is ‘Fireworks’ and there’s a prize for the best bouquet! This is hand-tied is using an aluminium wire frame (you can see the gorgeous colours peaking through the flowers). If you’d like to join us as a guest this evening, DM for further information. What this space to see the winner!
