Hold your horse!!!!
Just in!! Equine Extravagnza will have a seminar on “What’s in a Score” with NRHA and AQHA judge Mike Bednarek. Ever wonder what gets a +1/2 or why that penalty 1 showed up in your score? Well here’s your chance to ask.
Mike will go over both Reining and Ranch Riding.
This will be held on April 9 at Cazenovia College starting at 8am during the Equine Extravaganza.
Attendance is included with admission to event.

Dust off your boots and saddle!! Equine Extravaganza is hosting two approved event April 9 and 10! AQHA Approved Ranch Riding on Saturday the 9th and NRHA approved Reining on Sunday the 10th.
Event will be held at the beautiful Cazenovia College Equestrian Center in Cazenovia, NY.

We will be hosting a very small event at Cazenovia College Arena April 9-10.
The weekend will include a Ranch Riding clinic given by Jean Sears Haller- ranch Riding show and an NRHA show.

We are sad to announce that the NYS Fairgrounds has canceled all event through the end of April.
We will not try to reschedule this year but will look to reschedule in April of 2022

Family is the most important thing in his life. Shawn does also very much love his reining horses. Shawn was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame in 2011 & set a record as the first rider ever to reach $6 Million in earnings. He credits many of his accomplishments to his parents, his family, and to the incredible horses & their owners.
At a very young age he knew he was going to be a horse trainer. That was all there was to it. With his dad there to encourage & demand the best from Shawn, he developed a keen understanding of the reining horse mind. He started training horses right out of high school and he never looked back. Weekend after weekend he began his climb to his first $3-4 million in rider earnings all with his family by his side. Along this journey have been some really incredible horses that have made history themselves including:

Spooks Gotta Whiz • Smart Spook • And Many More...
Shawn has made history quite a few times in the Reining Horse Industry with notable wins such as Multiple NRHA Open Futurity titles, NRHA Derby Open titles, and NRBC titles along with several All American Quarter Horse Congress wins.
