My kiln has been wired and set up in my new pottery studio at Papatowai. Thank you to Jenkinson Electrical for their great service. I still have a lot of unpacking and organising to do, but we are enjoying our new location at the southern coast of Te Waipounamu

My pottery studio is being packed up today for the big move south, so I have put my last Rangitikei mugs into Relish Rangitikei, the amazing cafe in Hunterville.

Photos from Mt Curl Pottery's post 24/04/2024

These mugs are from my last Rangitikei firing. We are moving in two weeks, and have to disconnect the kiln.
Our house sold a bit quicker than we expected, so are heading to Papatowai around the 11th May.
Thank you to all the people who have supported me with my pottery venture here at Hunterville, it is a wonderful rural community ❤️
Message me if you want these mugs before the 3rd, or they will be available at Relish Rangitikei after that.

As I will be moving south in a few months, I thought it would be good to have my pottery shed/ studio open for some of the Easter weekend.
It will be open from 10am to 1pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
At 407 Mt Curl Road, Hunterville

I am back in my studio after a holiday visiting family and seeing beautiful Morocco.
And I will be making mugs again soon.
My talented brother in law Keith has made me an amazing toolbox, so hopefully I won’t misplace anything now!

We have big changes happening this year with a move to Te Waipounamu.
I will have a new studio at Papatowai, so I am looking forward to making pottery there.
